Part of the "Draw an Obscure Fighting Game Character: challenge for

Interested to draw obscure FG characters?There are a ton of fighting game characters that are rarely drawn.
Sometimes because they are just from very old games, sometimes because they have very unattractive designs.
But maybe these characters can be fun to draw and be an interesting challenge for you because their look is hard to catch or the challenge would be to make a boring character look like a badass?
If the topic of rarely drawn fighting game characters interests you and you would like to get a personal challenge (or choose between three of them) just comment!
Any drawn characters for this challenge will get featured via a journal here as well as via an own blog article about the character, your artwork and yourself on http://www.game-art-hq.com/ as an extra reward....Except you don't want that of course!

Though obscure, she is perhaps the first of many video game anthropomorphic vixens. Before Sly Cooper's Carmelita. Before Star Fox's Krystal. Hell; before Digimon's ' Renamon. There was Foxy Roxy from the obscure 'Brutal: Paws of Fury.'
The game saw it's release on SNES, Genesis, and I believe Jaguar and 32X if I'm not mistaken.

It should come as no surprise that Foxy Roxy was the most memorable (and popular) fighter from that game for those who remember it.
And looking at her figure; it's easy to see why she was popular. ;3

Another full fledged furry fighting game is awaiting to be made in this day and age. Foxy Roxy could've been the Chun Li of furry fighting females. Though honestly; I think Darkstalkers' Felicia holds that title more than anything else. (Even though she's still part human.)

Still it was fun drawing her like this. And gives more people exposure to this forgotten fighter.

Drawn for the Street Fighter II tribute at

FGE Art Jam: SF 30th Anniversary Tribute - SFII!

Back in 2012 we created an amazing tribute with over 200 artworks that tributed the whole Street Fighter series from SF I in 1987 up to Street Fighter X Tekken that was arriving a month after we did the tribute and introduced the beloved Poison to the series.
We tribute Street Fighter again and started with the classic SF from 1987 in December but now we continue with SF II and all of its updates which means that Evil Ryu and Violent Ken are included as well and finish this 30th Anniversary Project with the latest Street Fighter V characters.
Instead of illustrations with fully colored backgrounds, lets focus on the characters itself completely and create a collaboration that features the characters without any backgrounds like these that were made for the first Street Fighter in our Anniversary Project:

It is up to you how you would illustrate the character, you can let them perform one of their attacks or

You can see why I love getting involved with this.

My choice for the Street Fighter II character I was going to draw was T. Hawk; the Mexican-born Thunderfoot tribesman who had his lands taken away by Shadowloo; and ultimately by M. Bison.

Here the noble warrior performs his 'Tomahawk Buster' move soaring into the skies with a determined look on his face. He's fighting to regain everything stolen from him back.

And while Street Fighter II's ending suggests he succeeds; time has not been kind to T. Hawk on account of his wife Julia brainwashed by Shadowloo. In Street fighter IV when you complete the game with T. Hawk, you get the most tragic ending for any character in that game. Julia is saved and living with an old couple; but she is a shell of her former self and T. Hawk can only hope to get her back.

That could be non-canon. Cause after all Julia was present with the rest of the dolls in Street Fighter V's story 'A Shadow Falls.' But personally, that story recounting the fall of Shadowloo is so retarded I'm not even sure I count that. XD

It's Lopunny hung up and bound. Her fur lining is more or less her underwear. Obviously she is more built and sexualized than a regular Lopunny. XD.

Game-Art-HQ's 5th Anniversary arrives soon (20th June) and its a great moment to finally do a Pokemon Tribute since we witnessed the 20th Anniversary of one of the biggest video game franchises ever.
The idea of it is to get the 151 1st Gen Pokemon drawn, each one doing one of its attacks or other abilities on the artwork.Up to two artists can choose the same pokemon, but every submission has to show a different attack or other ability.
Every artist can pick up to three different Pokemons, but one after another.
No background this time please, instead just the Pokemon doing the attack on a trans

Haven't drawn Jenny XJ-9 in like...well...forever. She has a very cute design. Always a fan of that retro style.
Plus it's also for a contest.

Looks like Jenny has been trying out human skirts again. As a super crime fighting flying robot she's learning that they're not the most practical of things to wear.
She's regretting her decision already. Who can blame her. XD

Stick to your metallic apparel robo-gal! Although...are those panties human ones too? O.o

My husky gal Sarah was a good subject to try this meme out on due to the fact her "hair" is actually her fur. It's hair fur so to say.
So just like people do with their dogs, you can trim it and sometimes shape it to your liking.

In this case Sarah's liking. Or lack thereof. Some of these hairstyles were extremely experimental so some had Sarah react to them uniquely.
Like how she looks up rather dubiously at her afro. Or how suddenly devious she looks with her mohawk or how rockin' she is now with her mullet.
In her Pompadour she put in goggles to kind of pay tribute to the Egon (and partially Holtzmann) look of Ghostbusters.

Perhaps my favorite of her expressions as well as hairstyles is her Emo Cut. She may be played up to be "cute" and "goofy" as opposed to her mentor/boss Carmelita Fox. But in this light she actually looks serious and kind of bad ass.
But below her is one she clearly doesn't like...the buzz cut. Like a true husky she prides her fur so shaving it is not in her best interest. She isn't too thrilled about the Dreadlocks either. (neither am I.)

Most of the styles she shows off are complimented by her look of contentment. The top two in the form of her ponytail and pigtails very much mimic her original style found at the bottom right.
One in particular would perhaps be used as her second hairstyle; her Bun hairstyle. She would most likely wear her hair fur like this to fancy gatherings. Like if she went with Carmelita to an art show to soak in some culture. A nice fancy dress would compliment this doo.

The rattail I kind of made like that of a Padawan leaner. It sort of fits Sarah's role of student under her teacher Carmelita. Don't worry...she doesn't complain about sand. ;D

While I do prefer her hair long and flowing; such doos like the Short and Spiky hairstyle actually look pretty good on her IMO.

Which of her doos do you seem to like best?
For me personally: I like her Short, Long, Bun, Mohawk, Spiky, and Emo Hair doos.

This weekend I went back on my college campus once a few lures were set up.
Walking around I came across a rare treat in Pokemon Go. A Ninetails waiting underneath a nearby tree.

He was not easy to capture. I ended up wasting a lot of balls on this Ninetails. fortunately with a few raspberries I quelled it and when i almost ran out of balls, i eventually captured it.
Good thing there's so many refill stations nearby.

AllStars Toothpick and Abigail Minion

Concept based off Playstation All-Stars. The idea is taking a Sly character and adding him or her to the roster of fighters. Yeah it's essentially all Sly in the actual game. Of course if it got bigger like Smash Bros. more would've been added.

In this case though; the main reason is for the addition of minions. And the minions being added are Sly fan characters.

So here i have added Toothpick to the roster. And to his upper left is

's own OC Abigail as Toothpick's personal minion. :3
Imagine how Toothpick would fight in the game. I suspect his supers would involve him shooting out tornadoes and growing larger.

AllStars Carmelita and Sarah Minion

Done in the spirit of my previous piece:

Once again the idea is taking another Sly Cooper character and putting them as playable characters.
This time around; Carmelita is not just a minion. She is now a playable character with a minion all her own.
And like the last pic, it is of an OC.
This time it's my OC Sarah Brendhart; the plucky husky assistant officer and trainee under Carmelita Fox.

And yes like the spirit of the last pic; Carmelita is in her Sly 4: thieves in time outfit. Though her original Sly 1-3 outfits and her alternate from 4 can be made available too. ;D
Sarah's cheering on her idol alright. She's learning a lot from Ms. Fox; mostly what "tough love" feels like. XD

A third one is planned. And there's a reason why. I am thinking of how people would want to approach this idea of making a Sly character playable in All-Stars with their own minion. (Usually an OC) The roles can be reversed too you know. ;D

Sharon: yeah well....maybe I should've lit the hoop on fire. Might've impressed the audience more.
(Gill the Vaporeon Hydro blasts Sharon....which pushes her back and blows off her bikini set.)

Mai Shen Demonic Struggle

I guess I been watching too much anime lately. But it's certainly gotten me in the mood to draw again so that's good. ;D

I decided to draw something unorthodox for a change. A pic that is mostly supposed to be bad ass and intense; but with a hint of sexy.

Battle damage sexy.

The kung fu cat Mai Ling and the karate fox Shen Lo Ken have encountered a monstrous demon. This Oni is one tough sonnuvabitch. Shen is struggling to keep its monstrous jaws open, and Mai is just recovering from her own beat down from the damn thing.
Despite both their injuries, they are resilient. Though once they put this thing down they both deserve a long rest.

Not only are their bodies taking a thrashing; but so are their clothes. Shen's gi of course is badly torn. But Mai looks like she got it worst. Her qipao is virtually demolished. Not to mention the damage she is trying to keep down on her right arm. Only her spandex help prevent her from being totally naked. But in battling a terrifying demon, and her partner Shen struggling: she's not concerned about that right now.

Give em Hell Mai!!

Queen of Summer 4 FINAL ROUND Sarah vs Lola

The Final Round of queen of summer has arrived.
there were a few things happening that put me behind my art schedule. So managing to find some time in between I cranked out this picture of the final contestants vying to win it all.

I previous did a few rounds pertaining to summer olympics. So combining olympics with Ester Williams types water shows I had the final contestants compete in a sort of synchronized swimming environment. This contest was covering a really broad spectrum this year I say.

The final contestants as the Semi-Finals had selected are husky Sarah Brendhart and raccoon Lola Henderson. And it's actually quite surprising to see Lola being graceful instead of outright crazy. Her brain must've shifted gears to try and claim her way to fame. This is the first time after all she's been in the final round. The last raccoon to reach it this far was Jenti in the 3rd Queen of Summer.

These girls really have to cooperate to beat each other. XD
