Dudley's mom Peg Puppy felt Kitty Katswell needed a new look to best suit her needs for Dudley's "well being."
But as was to be expected she knows more about dogs than she does cats.
And the end result leaves Kitty wonder How she let Peg talk her into this.

This is Kitty with her fur trimmed and frizzed out to that of a poodle cut. She's technically nude as she was in the episode Hot Dog. All fur but with some of it shaved to cool her down.
Peg is rather proud of this. Kitty not so much.
