Splash Vixen Befriends Boombox COMMISSION

Commission done for my friend :iconradiotonepictures:.

Quite an elaborate one too. It involves his robot character Boombox meeting my own team of super powered elemental girls known simply as 'The Angels.'
And their electrically charged leader General Blitz too. The group that will one day take over TUFF and perhaps even the world.

But things have hit a snag. One of their team members seems to have defected. Boombox seems to have convinced the most easily misled member of the group to come on over to his side. Whether or not his own side is more insidious we're not sure. But he was designed to be an entertainment model; so he must've played a favorite song of the team member to goad her.
The team member being the sweet but kinda dim Splash Vixen.
Splash Vixen isn't the most competent of her team. As such she sometimes gets flack from her other team mates. Mostly from Shining Wolf (their defacto leader other than General Blitz) who treats her like a child at times.
So confiding in Boombox she soon discovers how nice he is...or appears. Suddenly she's gotta new friend and she sheds tears of joy. Caught up in the ecstasy of new friendship she openly admits he's nicer than "Shiny" is. She's referring to Shining Wolf. She refers to her teammates by their first part of their Code Names and always adds "y" at the end of them.
It's a major click that is part of her character and she ALWAYS does this.

So how do her fellow team members react to this switch? Differently but most seem pretty miffed by it.
Storm Foo hovers overhead just looking down shaking her head that her team mate traded her friendship with the for a machine. "....How perverse" was a line added that I took from C-3PO from 'Attack of the Clones.'"Shut me down! Machines building machines...how perverse." In every fan comic I am doing; there will ALWAYS be a Star Wars reference.

Stone Jackal true to her character says little to nothing at all. She just stands there silent and statue-esque.

Dark Shikoku thinks to herself in Haiku format. She always speaks and thinks in Haikus. Which will be sometimes challenging to write so I need to look up major words online to see how many syllables there are in them. It's hard to know sometimes how many syllables there are in words that have a hard "D" at the end of them. And "blonde" was one of them. So I looked it up to see it was only one syllable. So be it.
Challenging to write Haikus all the time for this character. But it's a fun challenge. ;3

Shining Wolf is actually taking what Splash said kinda hard. She looks genuinely hurt. Like: "I'm not mean...just firm but fair." Poor Shining Wolf. As the defacto leader she tries really hard to keep the rest of her team in line. And given some of the personalities of these girls it is extremely difficult. She's kinda like the Kitty Katswell of the Angels. She's the responsible and most competent one; but also the one who has to bear the brunt of some of her more rowdy and incompetent teammates.

Blazing Husky just simply folds her arms and calls Splash Vixen "Weird girl...." It's her catch phrase. I got it from Exile from Road Rovers. She always refers to her strange behavior from her fellow team mates. "Don't be a weird girl" or "Don't be weird girl...." The thick Russian accent of hers only sells it.

Crystal Dingo (the character Lizzy McDinga was modeled from) just throws her hands up in disgust simply commenting that "The Dumb One" of the group has left. She of course is referring to Splash Vixen. Don't let the pink or the fact her powers are crystals fool you. There's nothing really girly about Crystal Dingo at all. Like Lizzy she is rude and crude. And no...they're not related despite looking similar.

Rose Coyote follows up on it by simply stating that their commander General Blitz still leads them. So technically they still have "The Dumb One" insinuating he's the bigger idiot. (If not the most crazy.) Her click is speaking Spanglish where she ocassionally throws in a bit of Spanish now and then. ("Idiota" being Spanish for idiot.) She's looking a bit more like Carmelita Fox every day now huh?

So how doe General Blitz himself react to all this tomfoolery? Presumably off screen we see a panel bubble showing his reaction shot. He simply puts his finger to his forehead an thinks to himself how his team should've just consisted of men instead. A lot of you probably wonder why he would just have only girls on his elite fighting force when he plans for a hostile takeover. In some strange way, he wants his HOSTILE TAKEOVER to look progressive. So having all female fighters from different countries and races fight on his behalf is his way of making him appear "progressive." I suppose when he takes over he needs good publicity. So that way people on Social Media could say: "Well he may be a maniacal dictator. But his most elite fighting force consists only of women. HASHTAG ProgressiveDictatorFTW.
Yeah; that's the only reason. XD Coudln't possibly be him also being kind of a perv. XP
But he's regretting that decision right now as the group comments on Splash's defection.

That's all I gotta say about this pic. I hope you all enjoy it as I did making it. The dialogue in particular was fun to write. XD
Hope you love it too :iconradiotonepictures:
