Inktober word of the day is "Dizzy."
It's been a long time since I drew some Guilty Gear art. Immediately when I saw the word I thought of our favorite winged dragon-tailed Gear girl: Dizzy.
She's quite the embodiment of the series. Outlandish anime/video-game design, insane moves, a rockin theme (Awe of She from the originals) and a name that is also a rock n' roll reference. (Dizzy from Guns N Roses in this case.)
Of course other than Dizzy I drew the other two characters she's associated with. Her wings and the two personas that inhabit them: the skull-faced Necro on the left and the angelic Undine on the right.
I've not played the series in a while but I have played me some XrD. If only this series got the same level of recognition as Street Fighter. I remember really loving Guilty Gear X2 a long time ago; and being very inspired by it in terms of character design and creating animal versions of the characters.
But we'll got for the...."Human" version. Dizzy is a Gear after all. But that never stopped Ky Kiske from getting with her and producing Sin.....And then dumping him off to Sol Badguy while ending things with Kurodoberi Jam.
And yeah....Ky Kiske. Yet ANOTHER Rock reference: in this case to the band Helloween. This series is a slew of rock and metal references. It truly was an amazing series.
Dizzy belongs to Arc System Works
