He exists in a post-apocalyptic wasteland of a world from a game called Rimworld. Rimworld is a top down strategy type game.
Throughout the game various enemies show up to attack your base. Among the deadliest are these human-sized robots called Scythers.
A Scyther has just entered David's domain. And he's ready to take it on with his plasma sword.
Although conventional weapons like guns are still of great use here; powerful weapons like plasma swords are what is probably needed to help down a tough machine like a Scyther rather quickly.
David seems more than up to the task and we hope he will continue to fight another day after his scuffle with the Scyther.
