Inktober 2020 #9: Pickaxe Attack

Inktober 2020Inktober is nigh! This group is for all ink work (traditional or digital) all year around, but October is the big one for most of us. Group members are encouraged to draw anything you want as often or as little as you want. This is all about growing as an artist so don't pressure yourself. You are not held to any prompt list or any schedule, but if you want to use one here is the official list or for people protesting against Jake Parker, Hellypse made a list that is the opposite of each item from his list. Thanks to everyone for being members and sharing your work with the group. 2020 Inktober folders will be opening right before October 1st to account for time zones. Considering the mass amount of submissions the group gets it will be on auto accept and multiple folders will be open. Please only submit to the secondary folders when the prior ones get full. If anyone is interested in creating journals to showcase some member work for each day dm me and I will grant you journal permissions. Thanks everyone. Happy inking. ,,,  

Day 9 of Inktober 2020 and things continue to move along at a quick pace. A quick pace bringing us closer to the end of this year is always good.

Most of these days are filled with fan art to fit the word of the day. Today's words from the two lists are "Pick" and "Throw."

Last year I did a lot of Mega Man art. One in particular featured the fearsome Mavericks Mega Man X (and sometimes Zero) took arms against.

So now here's Mega Man X facing the sturdy foe...A Pickaxe Thrower.

Yeah...Of all things that could do a fighting robot from the future in it's a lousy Pickaxe. Not to mention these robots seem to have an endless supply of them to throw as they respond indefinitely. I guess that's why Reploids are so many: they instantly re-spawn. XD

Even X looks shocked here that he allowed a pickaxe to be thrown straight into his head by a standard enemy.

Zero must be off to the side face-palming. XP
