The word spirit plays off my Sly Cooper character the witch princess Takiyasha Horo and her ability to control ghosts and other unearthly spirits.
Being a Nekomata (a cat of JP folklore with a forked tail) this came as a natural ability to her. Too bad she was hated by everyone because of her tail that she grew evil and controlled ghosts to exact her revenge.
It seems every Cooper and Cooper ally at some point has a brush with the supernatural!
Rioichi Cooper and his companion Jenti really arw feeling the evil emanating from the ghostly aura emitted by Takiyasha.
At least in spirit; she is most likely not close to them right now and this is more or less a visual representation of them feeling her spine-chilling presence. (Not to mention the presence of the spirits she is controlling.)
