Inktober marches forward with our next word Sour according to the prompt.
For sour I decided to have some really really sour lemonade being sold. Little Wa Chan (the youngest member of the panda family the Chans) is trying to make some money to save up for college. Business isn't doing too well as most young lemonade stands tend to go through. Young ones learn at an early age the perpetual struggle of running a small business.
And as is usually the case; their only customers tend to be either friends or immediate family members. Wa Chan's older brother (Bo) and sister (Xu) decide to help a brother out and buy a drink from him. They find out the hard way he can't make a decent pitcher of lemonade as their lips pucker up from being incredibly sour. They're tearing up pretty badly too.
Wa Chan just ignores it and seems overjoyed that he finally made some money. So overjoyed that he immediately gets the crazy notion in his head that he's finally on the right track to add more to his college fund. All he needs now is to sell 12,000 cups. (Somehow I imagine it'll be more than that.) And he actually thinks his brother and sister are carrying 12,000 quarters. Oh to be young and naive. XD
