Happy Belated Halloween everyone! I finally completed the eleventh installment of Doghouse of Horror.
I do wonder how many more Doghouse of Horror episodes will be made before I call it quits. XD
Until I decide enough is enough there will be more to come every year either on, before or after Halloween.
In this case it arrived after Halloween. But it keeps the spirit around.
Lady Malmsteen still likes that Halloween spirit. Part of that being it is her birthday. The other being she loves the spooky feeling all around.
It seems during this time she likes to shack it up at a nice little villa away from her castle and give out tricks and treats.....but mostly tricks. A troupe of trick-or-treaters led by that adorable TUFF character we all know as "Little Chipmunk Girl" discover that expecting nothing but quality treats from the Queen of Petsylvania does not pay off. Instead of giving them some candy she dumps into their bag...a film reel. A film reel of Doghouse of Horror. Being that they were expecting candy and they instead get something very old they probably have no means playing they are emotionally crushed by severe disappointment. The Lady of course acts delighted. It's one thing to steal beautiful women and drain their essence. But to troll young tric-or-treaters? That's really pushing it!
Wonder how they'd get back at her? Ever since 'Most Dangerous Blame' I tend to make Little Chipmunk Girl more vengeful.
Here was last year's Doghouse of Horror:
The first story is Part 2 of last year's fish tale 'Helluva Bass.' We present the sequel 'Helluva Bass 2: Paws the Revenge.' Mr.s Katswell has been dragged off by the giant fish known as 'Mr. Big Guy.' So enlisting Dudley as her first mate she gears up for another fishing trip to get her mom back and take down the giant beast for good. Kitty is driven by vengeance more than ever; to the point where after using up all her ammo to try and take the fish out she starts resorting to using local sea-life like a swordfish she just picked up. And even though Mrs. Katswell is tied to the side of the fish Captain Ahab style; she still goes full mom mode and ask that Kitty put on a sweater while she avenges her. This might be the most irrational I've made Kitty. But not in a dim-witted Dudley way....she's irrational due to her complete quest for revenge. It is indeed worth pondering if she actually succeeded in saving her mother and finally bagging the big fish. Creating an ending for this would indeed be challenging but fun.
The next story has Dudley taking his girlfriend Daisy to Keswick's lab after-hours for a little tour of where he "works." She wanders off into one of his experimental pods and turns it on by accident. Before Dudley realizes it's a cloning device, multiple Daisies come popping out! Dudley knows having this many loony girlfriends wandering around on a work night is bad news since the next morning everyone will arrive at work to see what he has done. He certainly doesn't want the situation to get out of hand so needs to find out who the real Daisy is and try and get rid of the clones all together.
The title is a parody of the movie '28 Days Later'; which while having nothing to do with cloning was an amusing title to make. I was also thinking of how I would end this story. The twist would be no matter how hard Dudley tries he can't get rid of the clones and discover who the real Daisy is. So by the time morning comes Dudley expects to face the wrath of the Chief and TUFF staff. Which they do! But Dudley is surprised to see Kitty is battle ravaged and demanding Dudley come with her. She then explains the whole situation to him.
Turns out Keswick's pod wasn't a cloning machine: it was a teleportation device. The real Daisy was teleported to an alien planet where the aliens duplicate her DNA and disguise themselves as her. While keeping Dudley distracted they proceed to take over the Earth. Now it is ruled by a race of aliens taking in the form of Daisy. One that day the Daisy aliens took over it was officially dubbed 'DoomsDaisy!'
This ending is so open-ended it might produce yet another sequel.
The final story deals with more of Keswick's needlessly destructive devices being tampered with. This time it open a portal to Hell; yes just like Doom. Hence the title: 'DOOMBO.' It's a pun on the Disney movie 'Dumbo.' And it's appropriate as the main character is an elephant. A TUFF Agent named Agent Jumbo. Mild-mannered, squeaky-voiced and friendly to a fault, she is the last of the TUFF Agents to take on a horde of the netherworld's nastiest. But Chief Dumbrowski finds that all the TUFF agents (even Dudley and Kitty) are captured and taken to the underworld by the hellish minions. He has no one to help get them back...except Agent Jumbo. Giving her a pep-talk he convinces her she is the only hope for everyone at TUFF she worked and cared for. so mustering up courage and strength she never had before, Agent Jumbo arms herself with only her will and office supplies to fight off the creatures of the damned. It helps she is an elephant too and very heavy and harder to defeat for these skinny imps. But her ability to weaponize anything from staple guns turned actual guns to using Toner as a chloroform-type weapon is also proving to be working. Eventually fighting through Hell's armies she rescues everyone and the portal is closed. But when the Chief offers her a promotion to field agent taking on the most dangerous missions she flatly refuses and runs away screaming. Turns out she can only gain the courage to face Hell itself only when her friends are in danger. Otherwise any other mission without their lives in peril terrifies her.
The final stories always go to side characters. I bet most ppl never thought I'd use Agent Jumbo. I think the title ultimately made me use her. XD
