Queen of Summer: MAI LING

After a few months and the voting from fellow artists and watchers: our 'Queen of Summer' has finally been selected.

It was a really tight contest. There were ties, there were moments when one girl was ahead of another.

But the last minute votes that got in today clearly declared who the 'Queen of Summer' is.

And we officially dub MAI LING the winner of 'The Queen of Summer' contest.

She won by two votes over Lady Malmsteen. It was a VERY close race.

Lady Malmsteen's reaction can be seen in the circle on the right near Mai's head.
This is significant because it is another blow to her huge ego.

First she loses the only man who meant anything in her life: now she loses a beauty contest to another woman. A heroine no less.

Perhaps Lady Malmsteen will finally learn some way overdue humility. (Or hatch an evil revenge plot...who knows.)

But the contest has now ended. My sly Cooper OC Mai Ling has pulled it off. All hail the 'Queen of Summer.'
