OK let's be honest here; who here is excited for the movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy' almost solely because of Rocket Raccoon? Hell I know I am; a little raccoon firing off guns almost as big as him. Awesome. XD
I saw in advance who his voice actor is: Bradley Cooper. Hmm....Cooper huh? Why does this bring to mind another talking raccoon? Ahhhhhh. ;D
I read some of the Rocket Raccoon comics. He actually does seem to have a bit of Sly in him; what with being a criminal and being a bit of a flirt with the ladies. Although in many ways; he does behave a bit more like Daxter from Jak and Daxter.
Probably a bit of a jokester too. Hence why he's elbowing Sly for this dumb little in-joke on him being voiced by a "Cooper." And no; this is definitely NOT something the guys who made the movie were aware of. It's 100% pure coincidence.
Sly knows this too; which is why he's just mildly going along with Rocket's lame ass in-joke on how a Cooper is voicing a talking raccoon. Sly's reaction is pretty much the same as mine. But you know; when you've been a Sly Cooper fan for many years; you tend to notice stuff. XD
This joke falls flat for those who live in the United Kingdom too; since over there Sly is known as Sly Raccoon. But...oh well...committed to this now. XD
