I was going through some old sketches I had lying around as I cleaned up my new place.
I found one I drew some time ago but never got around to digitally drawing.
I think I drew it when I went to watch my sister get married back in 2012. Yep; the sketch is THAT old. XD
While I was there (back in California) I also had time to visit a close friend of mine.![:iconfox-mccloud:]( "fox-mccloud")
and I met up again and we sat down at a Starbucks to have some coffee. Like always we would discuss many things that we were interested in. He's pretty much one of the few people I know IRL I'm close to who I can openly talk about stuff like TUFF Puppy, Sly Cooper, MLP, and of course...Regular Show.
Although my artwork doesn't show it and I haven't seen a whole lot of it recently (due to me not watching much TV anymore to begin with); he and Iare indeed fans of Regular Show. We were talking about some of our favorite episodes during this time.
All of a sudden this little kid walks up to us and asks us a pretty "out of the blue" question. The way we spoke about the show must've had him thinking me and Kei were the actual creators of it. Although not actually quoted; he did indeed want to know if we were.
Of course me and Kei were honest and said, "No we're not" in a very politely way. Not sure if the kid was disappointed; but I could remember him asking us that and how I wanted to recapture that moment as best I could.
So yes; that's me as my raccoony self and that's Kei as his foxy self. The kid here is a young husky pup. Wasn't sure how old he was or what exactly he waswearing; but I'm willing to bet he was at least eight.
I just thought it was pretty cute he assumed we were the creatos. X-3
I guess he's not used to grown men talk about cartoons like that in public. Heh heh. XD It was a cute innocent moment; and I remembered it when I came across the sketch,.

again; I told him I would eventually color it. And; I did. ;D
Here's to good memories mate. Let's hope we meet up again some day when I am back down in California again.
