Doghouse of Horror III

A day after Halloween true; but better late than never.

It's time once again for the traditional TUFF Puppy 'Doghouse of Horror' special. Even though TUFF Puppy has run its course and no more episodes are being produced; it doesn't mean the art from us fans will stop. Though in my case it may for a while; as I want to branch out and try newer things.

This year's third Doghouse of Horror as always is hosted by Lady Malmsteen. But it seems somehow; her half-sisters convinced her to let them join in on the festivities too. So it looks like both Camilla and Mina Malmsteen join The Lady and perform what appears to be 'The Witches Scenes' from Shakespeare's MacBeth. (Something wicked this way comes kids.) Out of the cauldron comes the film representing the three stories for this year's Doghouse of Horror.
I think I need to draw the Lady's sisters more. I already said Susanne Blakeslee is the ideal voice actress for Lady Malmsteen. I think for Camilla at least, it would be Grey DeLisle doing her thick "Carmelita Fox" Spanish accent. Camilla is the Spanish one of the group after all; being the result of Lady MAlmsteen's dad having an affair with a Chupacabra.
Mina; still out on a limb on who should voice her. Someone who can sound bratty yet mature; her being the youngest of Lady Malmsteen's sisters.

The first story is based on Kitty Katswell having to be sewn to her sister Katty. The result from a tragic accident; and the lousy health care Kitty gets from TUFF. This unfortunately means that sharing Katty's body means she has to follow Katty everywhere. And it seems Katty's side proves stronger as Kitty is unfortunately dragged with her on her many crime sprees.
The title is a pun off the song 'So Happy Together' by 'The Turtles.' And for those who don't know it; either you recognize it as the song Mikey crooned at the end of the Ninja Turtles movie...or just youtube it. XD

The second story introduces two characters exclusive to it. (Technically three.) In a true parody of the X-Files; they are a fox and an African crested parrot named after the two agents from the X-Files. This story ideas was submitted to me by :iconcupidcomet77:. I do accept ideas from people; but know this: if you plan on using one of your characters they can only be used exclusively for the story. You can't use your own characters from other stories. ;D Also it's gotta be in true Simpson style horror fun; nothing too serious. :B So anyways; these two are after the "third character"; a white blob like entity known as 'The White Flash.' That's that ghost like thing in the upper left corner. Fox believes its' a ghost while Dana thinks its just some criminal posing as one. Dudley believes Fox so they team up while Kitty believes Dana and they team up. Meanwhile; The Chameleon notices how the two groups' clashing view points have them arguing with each other. So he disguises himself as the White Flash'; and appears as such to Fox and Dudley while going as himself in front of Kitty and Dana in order to cause confusion and dissent amongst the two.
Hence why I put 'THe White Flash' on Fox and Dudley's side and The Chameleon on Dana and Kitty's side. The title of course parodies 'Paranormal Activity.' The paranoia part of it reflects the two teams bickering with one another over who's right on 'The White Flash.'

BTW: Here are Dana and Fox's full bios copied from CupiComet77 if you're interested.

-Dana Scuttle is a African Grey Parrot previously under the employment of the Forensic department of T.U.F.F. A graduate of the University of Maryland, with a doctorate in Physics, top of her class. She had her whole life planned out, but nothing could have prepared her for working in the (again so originally named) X-Files. It was there that she met Agent Fox Mullet, and it was safe to say the two clearly don't see eye to eye. While Fox is more of a believer and more often let's his emotions get the better of him, Dana tries to explain everything and anything through hard scientific fact. These two are absolute polar opposites of each other, but overtime, they develop a sort of respect for each other.
Agent Dana is prim and proper, all business with no compromise. She's dressed in a clean and crisp dark grey blazer jacket, darker than her feathers. Under the blazer is a perfectly pressed and cared for white dress shirt always tucked in for a professional and disciplined appearance. She wears a pair of dark grey dress pants, again, darker than her feathers, and it is also perfectly kept. The reason for her perfectly kept appearance is because her father, a pelican named William, was a Navy Captain. She doesn't wear shoes however, as there are no type of shoe that can withstand a bird's talons, no matter how much Dana trims those things.

-Fox Mullet is a Red Fox who used to work in the Behavior Analysis Unit branch of T.U.F.F. Even during his time in T.U.F.F., he had the unfortunate reputation of being, weird. In fact, he had the nickname of "Freaky Fox" during his time there. One day however, he came across a file containing classified information on something called the (ever so originally named) "X-Files". When asking about the X-Files, he was shot down at every chance, being told the files don't exist. However, he knew they were lying, and worse, hiding something. Finally, he flat out demanded to be transferred to the X-Files. In exasperation for all his questioning, his request was finally granted, and he was allowed to work with the X-Files. Most would say his fascination for the X-Files would be just a facet of his "weirdness", but that would be far from the truth. Personal records of his states that at the age of 12, Fox witnessed the disappearance of his 8 year old sister, Samantha. To this day, nobody really knows how she disappeared. But Mullet claims to this day that she was, quote unquote, "taken by them".
Mullet has a sort of laid back but serious style to him. He's usually dressed in slacks and button up shirts and a coat, but is hardly serious. His shirt is untucked and his clothes are more wrinkly and unkempt. The palette of his wardrobe usually match the color of his fur: a reddish-orange jacket, a white undershirt, and black slacks. He usually wears a pair of dull black loafers, creased and worn with over use and neglect.

The third and final story deals with yet another psycho. Last year it was a burly psychotic chicken named John McCluck. This year; it's a psychotic mouse girl named Franny. Her name is both a reference to her nickname 'Schizo' Franny (which she totally lives up to); and it somehow alludes to the main villainess of the movie/novel 'Misery'; Annie. The title and the story itself is based off the Steven King novella and movie 'Misery.' Snaptrap is the unfortunate patient turned prisoner here; as he discovers that his 'angel' is really quite a 'devil.' An obsessed fan of his character (boy is THAT all too familiar XD); she wants to become a super villain by his side; constantly badgering him with ideas that....are actually better than his. Of course he doesn't think so; so when he declines...man does she throw an anger fit. If you ever saw the movie; Kathy Bate's portrayal as Annie gives you a basic idea of how Franny reacts to Snaptrap's negativity. When he tries to escape and she finds out; the scene  Idrew reflects the movies' famous (and disturbing) "Hobbling" scene. Instead of that gruesome display however; it's Franny putting mouse traps on each of Snaptrap's toes. And while it's played up for humor; it actually is still fairly disturbing. You actually can feel sorry for Snappy here. I made Franny look plain and not very attractive on purpose. She's supposed to be an average girl' but underneath is a pile of rage. And that big smile of hers as she looks on delightfully tormenting poor Snappy also brings me in mind of the girl from the movie 'The Audition.' So it looks like both my 2nd and 3rd Doghouse of Horror story ended this year with psychoes tormenting our heroes and villains. A guy chicken and a mouse girl....heh heh. XD

And there you have it folks. The third Doghouse of Horror.
One day I plan on writing these out.
