Sisters In Arms for Amity-Lee

A belated birthday picture for :iconamity-lee:; among my newfounded Sly Cooper fans and friends.
Like me, she created a partner for Carmelita Fox. It's a nerdy and somewhat clumsy squirrel girl named Bianca. She may be kind of "in-the-way" and a bit on Carmelita's nerves at first....but once she sees and learns from Carmelita she starts building more confidence in herself and eventually becoming more than what she used to be.
I tell ya, a lot of girls in law enforcement would look to Carmelita as a role model.
Such is the case with my own creation, Sarah Brendhart....the determined but slightly brash husky.
I asked what Amity wanted for her birthday pic; and she requested a picture of Bianca and Sarah with Carmelita Fox. I happily obliged.
You could call them 'Sister-in-Arms'. Indeed; both Bianca and Sarah are pretty much like 'little sister' types with Carmelita no doubt being the 'Big sister' type. Probably begrudgingly at first but both girls will eventually grow onto her. Especially with Sly gone and her needing help she can rely on...that's still on the side of the law that is. ;D

Carmelita of course is standing in the center looking all awesome with her wicked pistol. Sarah's on the left looking ready to fight. And Bianca is on the right looking eager and ready to help with her Interpol laptop in tow.
What a team they'd make....a cute one if not a bad ass one. ;D

Winter For Kitty

Hopefully Petropolis is nothing like Missouri when it's winter. XD

To compensate for the icestorm we're having; I drew this pic of Kitty walking in the Petropolis winterscape. Dressed in her overcoat, cap, scarf and ear muffs; she seems rather happy to be out there.

The show tends to vary on where TUFF is located. On the one hand its in California; but in another episode it was somewhere in what appeared to be Kansas. XD Rubberband reality...that's partly what the show runs on.

Well no matter. The idea of Kitty enjoying a peaceful time outside in the snow is appropriate for this time of year when the chilly winds blow and the snow starts a fallin'....for some of us.
Had I still been in California; I wouldn't have been inspired to draw something like this. But I have experienced winter here in Missouri; and while sometimes it's nice and peaceful; other times it can be icy and not as calm. Again: like the icestorm.

Enjoy the snow Kitty. Perhaps even make a nice snow angel while you're outside. ;D

It's been a while since I made a 'Kitseen' pic; you know where I pair Kitty and Lady Malmsteen for some steamy action for the Hell of it. ;D

Looks like curiosity is getting better of the cat. XD Kitty has gotten a little closer to The Lady. But The Lady seems to be inviting her closer. And as you can tell by the look on Kitty's face; she's definitely not sure if she'd really wanting more of The Lady's advances. XD Lady M is like "go ahead an touch them." Look Lady M's been alive for some time Kitty; you're not the first beautiful girl she's been close to. XD

And it looks like Lady M is going for the throat; Kitty's throat. I know Lady M's a vampire; but I think that's more of a love bite than anything. And check it out; it seems she's grabbing Kitty's buttocks. Those things get bigger with every fan art incarnation. XD 

Heh heh; Kitsteen pics can be a joy to do sometimes. XD So please excuse my spontaneous naughtiness. XD

The Hall of Vanity

Kind of a thank you to all the fans and artists who helped turn Lady Malmsteen into the self centered, spoiled brat she is.

She's prancing down a hall where portraits done by other artists hang. Admiring the detail put in to capture her beauty she starts singing "I'm so Pretty." Yes a vampire queen singing something from West Side Story...don't think I'm Disney0fying her too much. XD

Not only where selecting some of these works based on the quality; but also they represent three aspects of her personality. The first one done by :iconcoonfoot: symbolizes her status and power of authority. The second one done by :icondavecartoons: symbolizes her pride and self awareness of her beauty. The third done by :iconscificat: shows her seductive and very flirtatious nature.

All three aspects portrayed envelope her prancing down the hall showing off how vain, arrogant and prideful she is. She's a villain to the very T.

Also for my choice of angle: I sort of chose a reverse fisheye rather than just a straight hallway. I'm not sure if it works since it did distort the portraits but I wanted to make the background seem to respond to her prancing across it.

Two of these works were commissions done by :iconcoonfoot: an d :iconscificat:. And they definitely were worth the price since they came out such masterpieces. One was an art gift and a VERY well done art gift by :icondavecartoons:.

What can I say but: thank you for making The Lady the narcissistic diva she is. ;D

Sensuality of the Night

Halloween is upon us. And for me and my own vampire bat creation Lady Malmsteen it is a time of celebration.
Halloween is officially her birthday. And she doesn't mind wearing something special for that occasion. (Sometimes she'll even be in her "Birthday Suit." ;D)

Here she wears her favorite leather corset complete with thong and stockings. The moon shines in as she draws her curtains to let the night drink her in.

This is the month of the bat queen. There will be many more where she came from. ;D

The Cast of 'Rioichi Cooper and the Five Orbs'

Not the most imaginative title: but it does have meaning. It's referring to the book of philosophy written by the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi: 'The Book of Five Rings.'
Like the book the five orbs represent five elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Void.

The idea behind the story is that Rioichi Cooper's thieving days are dwindling fast since the current shogun has become corrupted thanks to a gift delivered to him by what the locals named: 'the winged devil.' The gift was a dark orb: the Orb of Void. This allowed the shogun total control over most of Japan. It also made thieving harder as the greedy nobles got richer no matter how much Rioichi stole. Feeling hopeless he is then visited by his ancestors in a dream who tell him to embark on a quest. He eventually learns of four other orbs: the orbs of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. Combined with the orb of Void it would restore balance and harmony to Japan. The reason the shogun was so corrupted easily was because without the four other orbs; the Orb of Void by itself is an orb of darkness. Only with the other orbs can the user be powerful and pure of spirit. So Rioichi can't even steal the Orb of Void by itself since it would easily corrupt him too.
But like the Orb of Void; the other orbs are currently in the stewardship of other individuals. In China; the horse emperor Qui Lynn possesses the Orb of Fire. Near the Ryuku Islands in the undersea kingdom of Yonaguni (an actual Japanese landmark), the king of the fishmen residents; The Sahagan, possesses the Orb of Water. On a haunted island named Shiniriku, a palace full of ghosts named Soma is inhabited by a witch princess named Takiyasha Horo. She possesses the Orb of Earth. Finally there is the most elusive orb of all: the Orb of Wind. Not residing but always moving; with a highly skilled and undefeated blind swordsman named Kengyoichi.


So it's a somewhat basic adventure/quest story where Rioichi must travel as far as China and distant islands to try and recover the legendary orbs.

Here is the main cast
I typed their names so you know who's who.

MAJIN CLOCKWERK - The "winged devil." Majin means "demon" in Japanese. not only do I think it's a cool befitting first name for this form of Clockwerk; but it's also a reference to Dragonball. (Majin Buu.) The idea of collecting orbs to gain something is definitely reminiscent of the Dragonballs. There are lots of cultural and anime references throughout this story.
THE SHOGUN - Haven't decided on a name yet. Much like in the first Star Wars trilogy; we referred to Emperor Palpatine as "the Emperor." Here he's "The Shogun"; for now. Like I said; multiple references.
THE SAHAGAN KING - The enormous and bulbous fishman king with his trident and giant shark toothed grin. It's a good thing Rioichi has a shark pal to help him.
QUI LYNN - He's really a horse but he believes he is a true descendant of the legendary Kirin. Kirins are basically chinese unicorns for those who don't know. He's kind of a cross between Discord and Lord Shen.
TAKIYASHA HORO - Like Qui Lynn she is based off another legendary creature; but she's the real deal. She is a nekomata; a cat with a forked tail who can control ghosts. Her name is derived from a Japanese witch from this famous painting:

KENGYOICHI - Derived from the legendary fictional blind swordsman: Zatoichi. But he is named Kengyoichi because it is the highest form of an occupation for those who are blind in Japan. Zato is the lowest.


BABAYAMA - This crotchety old frog is the one who tells the story of the orbs and helps start Rioichi's quest. Often beats him on the head with her walking stick and calls him "Bunbuku": a somewhat insulting name since she's basically calling him some dumb tanuki. XD
SAMANUSUKE - A young noble rabbit who was sent to train at one of the finest dojos in Japan. But because he was small he was mocked by his peers. His master saw this so he sent Samanusuke to journey with warriors who would accept him no matter if they were samurai or ninja. He goes with Rioichi but often their views of morality clash: as Rioichi goes by a ninja code and Samanusuke goes by the bushido code.
JENTI - A young ninja thief who always tried to steal more than Rioichi. She steals something from him but Rioichi follows her back to her village. Her tiny village is protected by her grandmother Yumi, who raised and trained her since her parents died. Is encouraged to help Rioichi as an apology for stealing from him; as well as fine tune her own ninja thieving skills.
RIOICHI COOPER- YAY! There's the man. :D:D the main hero of our story and the one who begins his quest to find the mystical orbs to try and bring peace and balance to Japan: as well as getting them all so he can successfully steal the Orb of Void.
BURAKU - A forest rhino bandit who was ostracized from the kingdom when the Emperor threw him out. His name is derived from "outcast"; his name describes people who are pretty much discriminated against in Japan. He also has other ostracized members who help him. Yet he has an alternative motive. Perhaps he's not the forest thief one might assume him to be at first.
KINTARO, URASHIMA, and CHAGAMA - Buraku's best henchmen. Kintaro; the strong hippo; Urashima the smart little turtle; and Chagama the teapot carrying Tanuki. Ahha: see what I did there? ;D I made Japanese versions of Murray, Bentley and Sly. Ahhhhaaaahhhh. ;D Their names are also derived from Japanese folk stories. Kintaro is named after a boy of acceptional strength. Urashima is named after a boy who rode a turtle for his life. And Chagama (meaning teapot) refers to Bunbuku Chagama, the story of a tanuki who lived with a dying old man. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer; but they get the job done. ;D

Sorry if some of the cast members are so small. Especially Buraku's henchmen. XD
But the villains came out nicely: and I'm pretty happy with how clockwerk turned out.
He may look his normal menacing self: but I left it vague on purpose so the final reveal behind what he truly looks like will be saved for later.

It should also be noted; that there are two characters straight out of the wall scroll artwork of the game that were done by Genevieve Tsai. The rabbit and the rhino. The rabbit and rhino had no name so I gave them one. If you visit the artist's blog you can look more at the detail on these two. I just gave em names but their desgins were by Tsai.

The Sly Chibi Chase

A quick drawing I did in my notebook I colored. It's a chibi chase of Carmelita and her partners after Sly cooper. Great so she couldn't catch Sly and needs three other girls ot help her. XD

Sarah beside her, Mai Ling running behind sarah holding Mindy's hand dragging her along. Poor Mindy lost one of her shoes. XD

Sly's so confident he's gonna get away despite Carmelita being a little too close to him. Sarah looks like she's booking and Mai's really harccore on catching Sly too. Mindy looks shocked going along for the ride.

Doghouse Of Horror II

The long awaited sequel to this year's 'TUFF Puppy Trilogy of Terror.' It all started a year ago with this piece:

And like last year; the "Master of Ceremonies" is none other than The Lady herself: Elizabeth Tepes Malmsteen.
Last year she dressed as Elvira and her setting was a projection room with movie parody posters.

This year she is wearing Victorian funeral attire. Most notable is the mourning veil she is wearing; along with this knee high silk stockings. She is sitting on a grave with Dudley's visage on it along with the crossbones engraved below him. You think she'd want him alive; but I guess this is the first process to make sure he stays "Undead." ;D
Now obviously the whole idea of doing a 'TUFF Puppy Trilogy of Terror' was taken directly from the yearly tradition of 'The Simpsons'; who started the whole thing. Another tradition Simpsons Halloween episodes did for a while; for at least five seasons...was creating 'Humorous Tombstones.' During the opening credits they would place the names of people, things or trends on them indicting they were dead...or at least dying.
I won't do this every year; and neither would The Simpsons writers because it was too hard. XD
But I did the minimum requirement of four references. These ones having some particular meaning.
Like one says: "Survival Horror"; referring to the gaming genre Resident Evil was once noted for; but now tends to shift away from it. Certain games out there still practice it'; but it's definitely not as widespread as it used to be.
Another says: 'Bipartisan Politics'; as we've seen in Washington over the last few weeks from both sides that is definitely a dead thing.
On the right we have 'The Previous Internet MEME'. This one says underneath it 'Life Span: 1- 2 Months.' That's generally how long people embrace the latest MEME; before another one takes it place. They breed like mayflies...they live for a short period of time and then die only to give rise to another one and so on.
And finally; the big one: 'Nickelodeon's Credibility.' This is very true for the subject matter this piece is on: TUFF Puppy. The show it self was aired sporadically and poorly. And with the latest trend of live action shows and airing hours upon hours of nothing but Spongebob; Nickelodeon is definitely not the fun credible channel choice for kids like it used to be.

So with her film reel in hand of the sequel to Dog House of Horror; the parodies are listed below on the piece.

And I noticed a pattern from last year; a pattern I think should be set. The first story deals with Kitty, the second with Dudley, and the third with a secondary hero or villain. Last year it was Keswick; this year it's The Chief.

In the first story; Kitty is possessed by her dead gangster ancestor nicknamed 'TommyGun Tabby." There she is decked out in gangster attire robbing a vault. The poor fox looks on in horror as she continues to fire the tommygun with those blood red eyes. The title is a parody of the movie title 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'; though this title was also used in an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon. Note the bullet holes on Bang! Bang!

The second Story deals with Dudley being the dog he is. He loves digging up bones; so as a dog; certain bones might interest him. Perhaps like digging up the femurs or ulnas of deceased celebrities as a sort of weird collection. But the dead celebrities don't like this and awake from their graves to release their fury on Petropolis. Dudley finds and unlikely ally who might be beneficial to defeat them. If collecting bones is an interest of his; similarly it is the interest of Verminious Snaptrap to collect skulls. And how can a dead guy move without his skull? ;D Leave it to Dudley to find another weirdo collector to aide him. The title is a parody of the movie and the serial it was based off of: 'The Lone Ranger.'

The last story has two movie references. The first being the title which is a parody of what many consider to be "One of the Best and Worst movies Simultaneously' ever made: 'No Country for Old Men.' Never heard of it? Well the premise is this guy finds some money from a drug deal gone horribly wrong; all while being pursued by this seemingly unstoppable psycho named Antoine Sugar. Hence the idea of the persistent psycho for this story. Only it's not an incredibly strong human; but an incredibly strong chicken. A chicken named Jon McCluck....named after the Bruce Willis character 'John McClane' from the Die Hard movie series.
The title may be taken from 'No Country for Old Men'; but if you read the premise and consider The Chief the main character; it's actually the same plot as Kung Fu Panda. Only instead of Shifu it's The Chief; and instead of Tai Lung it's an invincible chicken. A chicken so invincible that even the courageous and fearless Kitty Katswell trembles in fear; along with the malign Dudley. No one is more scared than The Chief; because not only does John have it out for him, but The Chief is really the only guy to stop him since he raised and trained him. But can he do it!? O.o
Oh..one other reference. Yes yes...'Bark-Ham Asylum' is a reference to 'Arkham Asylum.' Heh heh..it's cle-ver. XD

A little drawing practice before I begin my massive undertaking of drawings. :3
It's part of a little project began by :iconfoxsdumbseriesmaker: where we select a villain of our own and make them a member of the new hive of evil masterminds, no good-doers and all around scum and villainy....T.O.O.R.

I chose Lizzy McDinga; the saucy red haired Aussie. ^^
I guess I chose green for her as it's kind of her trademark outdoor outfit. Although perhaps it's too green; cause she's a either a member of TOOR or The Green Lanterns Corp. :B

But either way it's a nice way to stretch the artistic hammies.

Thunder Stealing SOB

Yes I saw the new Star Wars movie.
Without giving away too much; R2 does make his return along with a few other familiar faces.
But a majority of the screen-time as far as droids go went to BB-88; the new "soccer ball" droid who replaced R2. Literally, he replaced his main role because...well...if you've seen the movie; he plays the role R2 did in 'A New Hope' almost exactly.
R2 was actually asleep for the duration of this film due to his depression over Luke Skywalker. (I dunno why; but I find it funny that a droid/robot can get depressed. XD)

So I think R2 is a little cranky that BB-88 rolled in to steal his thunder. He's using that optional third leg of his to give that new droid a good kicking. GOAL!!! XD

Also; does this pic reflect my thoughts on 'Force Awakens?' Sort of. It's a really good and well made movie, don't get me wrong. J.J. Abrams did it a good service as a Star Wars fan as opposed to how the prequels were made.
But it still had major problems that left me feeling a bit angry; especially what happened near the end.
I take it most of you have yet to see it; so I won't reveal what I mean. I'll let you figure out what your emotions are near the end.

Of course those who did see it are welcome to share their thoughts too.

And yeah; the details on R2 are hard to draw. I haven't drawn that droid in years. :B

Well it's Christmas! :D And thus do i begin my 12 Days of Christmas gift giving...followed by five additional drawings to my runners-up.
I give the first gift to my buddy :iconcaseydecker:.

Seems like to keep in spirit with the holidays; I am giving away the Christmas themed gifts first. Seems rather appropriate. And Casey requested I draw his female members of Team Shinobi (Hayai Bunny, Whitnee Squirrel and Shizu Siam) in holiday attire celebrating the holidays either outside or inside.

I chose outside. And they are dressed as old fashioned Christmas carolers singing songs of hope, cheer and good will towards men near an old fashioned lamp post.

And it's snowing. How appropriate. Kind of wished it snowed where I am right now. XD

It's Louis with Kitty Katswell; presumably in her kitchen. He requested that the two are constructing a holiday gingerbread house. These are indeed fun to make: been a while since I made one though. Let alone with a character I like. XD

Imagine your Christmas making a gingerbread house with Kitty Katswell. For some people; that's like on of the best Christmas presents EVAR!! XD.

Our next holiday themed piece for the 12 Days request is from :icondb1993:.
He requested Carmelita Fox having an eggnog drinking contest with my Sly OC Sarah Brendhart.
The ladies apparently are putting eggnog in shot glasses. (Sweet mercy; what else did they put in that eggnog? XD)

I had fun making the holiday sweaters for the girls. Carmelita apparently wearing green with holly berries while Sarah wearing blue with a snow theme. Great holiday apparel or for an 'ugly Christmas sweater contest.' You decide. XD
They're still doign their own contest here to see how can chug the most Eggnog.

Go for broke ladies and start bringing out the beer steins. XD

12 Days for subjub

This is one of my favorite requests I filled out for the 12 Days thing. And it's for :iconsubjub:.

It's a TUFF Puppy piece of fan art; with a holiday theme I really would have loved to see. It's Dudely and Kitty during the hypothetical "Married Years." And as per family custom; they spend their holidays with their parents as best they can.
In this case; it's Mrs. Katswell's house. (AKA Kitty's mom. XD)

A lot of time has gone by apparently. Mrs. Katswell si getting impatient that Kitty and Dudley haven't been trying to become parents. She wants grandkids; and she wants them now!! Dudely looks like he's uncomfortable with this pressure; and Kitty just looks away embarrassed at her mom's insistent demands.

Looks like marrying Kitty caused Dudley to wear pants for once. Seems like he's willing to wear pants more than start raising kids. It's a first step anyway towards maturity. But it's pretty clear neither Dudley or Kitty want kids now. Mrs. Katswell sure does though. XD
