Hot Pursuit

Carmelita Fox and her partners in...justice....seem to be in hot pursuit of someone.

Maybe it's Sly (back in the present and back to his old tricks again...)

Or maybe just one of the many criminals escaping their grasp. Not for long.

It's already enough that Carmelita Montoya Fox pursues them. Now they got two other powerful female fighters of the law after them.

One being Carmelita's partner/officer in training Sarah Brendhart. The other former assassin Mai Ling.

Mai Ling is the one right behind Carmelita pretty much keeping up with her. Sarah is the one in the back looking like she's running low on steam trying to catch up to them.

Poor Sarah. She's Carmelita's main partner. Mai Ling isn't a permanent member of Interpol but helps out when she can. And yet I bet there are times Carmelita wishes she was her partner when it comes to the tougher cases instead of Sarah. It sucks Sarah kinda has to compete with someone else who doesn't do her job but is pretty superior to her in combat.

This was drawn after watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy again. You know when Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli run across the rugged landscape pursuing the orcs. Being the defacto leader; Carmelita is more or less the Aragorn of the group.

Mai Ling is like the Legolas of the group: capable of doing incredible (if not ridiculous) feats of skill and badassery....yet perfectly fine being in secondary character status.

And Sarah Brendhart is more like the Gimli of the group. Still a very fierce and determined fighter; but also kind of the group's comic relief. And kind of has a rivalry with Mai; even though Mai just brushes it easily aside. Yes it's like the Legolas/Gimli rivalry. It's like Legolas "let's" Gimli win at times; but also wins at the same time.

So where's Mindy Gardoe in all this? Hopefully she is not the Boromir of this group. "One does not simply write/kill off their own OC."

Don't worry Mindy I won't simply write you off. I won't scrap you like they scrapped Grant Denasty in the Castlevania Netflix series.

There's bound to be a role for my redheaded French mouse girl.

Also symbolizes the final push of my deployment. It'll be over soon my friends.
