It's been so long since I updated my Angel profiles: like over four months. xx A lot happened these past four months that dampened my art spirits. But with the year coming to a close (though not fast enough) I do feel a bit of my artistic strength coming back.
My willingness to be social online not so much but...one thing at a time.
Now for those who forget these are the previous Angel Profiles I did:
So without further ado here is Angel Profile #3:
The Queen of the Surf: Splash Vixen.
Her full name is Jill Masterson. But everyone who knew her called her Jill "The Spill." This relates to her surfing champion career when she was one of the most beloved water athletes in all of Petropolis.
Her name Jill Masterson is taken directly from one of the Bond girls from the film 'Goldfinger.' Again all the Angels have real names that are direct references to various Bond girls from various Bond films.
We now move onto her backstory. Jill Masterson was a native to Petropolis and was one of the city's most beloved female water sports enthusiasts. She was a champion surfer and was next to unbeatable when it came to riding the tallest waves and roughest waters. She earned the nickname "The Spill" affectionately coinciding with her real name Jill. She was also a popular model showing off various swimsuits and sports wear. Despite her fame she lived a humble life and had a very happy-go-lucky attitude towards everyone. Her warmth and charm captivated the hearts of many.
So it was a tragic day when it appeared she became lost at sea during one of the worst storms in Petropolis's history. Determined to conquer the choppy waters, she never returned from the surf to the turf. Search parties and rescue teams tried looking for her; but unfortunately none were able to find her. So with heavy hearts they gave up the search.
If only the rescue teams knew that she was indeed found....and very much alive.
She was found by General Blitz's scouts as he looked for new "Angels" to recruit. As he was set to conquer TUFF and Petropolis with it; he found it very fortunate he captured a local who knew the seas and waters that surrounded TUFF's harbors and beaches. He would need someone with such experience to patrol them so no ships could get in or out so he set up Jill to have her memory erased on who she was.
Unfortunately he didn't check for any signs that she already had lost her memory due to the chaos of the storm and being knocked unconscious in the water from it. So more than erase her memory, he also erased some of her intelligence. When she came to Jill was slightly different from before. She was still the happy carefree girl she always was. But this time she appeared to be a bit more...."bubbly."
To Blitz's own chagrin he had just given his new Angel one of the most powerful abilities on the team (the ability to control water) and it turned out she wasn't going to be among the brightest.
Blitz was relieved though to find she adjusted to her new abilities effortlessly. She never forgot her love for the water. Now she had the ability to swim through it without need of oxygen and even dive to the deepest depths without worrying about pressure. She even had the ability to run and glide on the water's surface to create her own waves. As long as she was happy doing all this without question; Blitz was confident she could easily be controlled and wouldn't need to worry about her. He then gave her the codename Splash Vixen.
Though he did know he needed more Angels on his team as Splash's only job was to mind the harbors while callously creating gigantic waves dangerous to any ships or subs in the area. He also made sure Shining Wolf would keep her in line. Shining Wolf soon found that keeping Splash Vixen under control wasn't that hard, but it certainly got fairly annoying. Splash Vixen's bubbly personality and over-friendliness would get on Shining Wolf's nerves at times. Dark Shikoku meanwhile paid her no mind since she always kept a tranquil mind as a ninja. Though both girls were worried how future teammates would take to Splash Vixen's irritatingly enthusiastic attitude.
The most prominent thing about Splash Vixen's new bubbly personality was how she would call her fellow Angels by their first part of their codenames and have them end with a "Y." So she would often refer to Shining Wolf as a "Shiny" and Dark Shikoku as "Darky." This trend would continue with the rest of her teammates; all of which took it in different ways. Though some would show their annoyance more than others; Splash Vixen grew very fond of her fellow Angels and thought of them as her friends and sisters. So a combination of her love of the water and her team loyalty also kept her in line and she would never do anything to betray them.
