After the exploded jetpack finally gives out, Lizzy plummets helplessly back to Earth.
But not before noticing a construction site, where using her quick draw reflexes manages to pull out a pistol that shots out rope that automatically binds.
In this case binding itself on a suspended beam. On the bottom panel she's like "Close call." But in the second panel (even while suspended) it's back to duty as she takes out a boomerang and then chucks it at Dudley. Man NOTHING prevents this girl from trying to get her quarry. Say what you will about her: girls should really have her determination letting NOTHING throw them off.
The boomerang not only is a heat seeking boomerang that follows Dudley; it SHOOTS LASERS!! Where and how does she get these weapons!? She's pretty handy with gadgets given hunting is both her specialty and profession.
And yet: having a cool demeanor is not. Dudley tries to shake off the boomerang but it follows him back to Lizzy: where while flying over head, the boomerang slices the wire holding the beam.
The beam falls behind Lizzy and she suddenly realizes she's still attached to it with the pistol. She could let go: only to plummet after it. So unfortunately she's going down either way and as the beam plummets...so does Lizzy.
