Lizzy's fall was not a smooth one. On the way down as the beam continues to fall, she hits some scaffolding on the way. Her big ol' dingo butt just breaks through it.
But the splintered wood is doing a number on her outfit. One of the broken scaffolding boards even got a hold of her boot pulling it clean off: sock and all.
With clothing torn and one boot missing she ends up with the final indignity of falling into sewage. She emerges to find the sign she saw earlier from Pages 9 and 10 and what was part of 'The Great Sewage spill' cause by Dudley which was mentioned throughout the comic.
Her expression on the bottom of Page 67 has to be my favorite. ^^
Dudley meanwhile figures out how to rid himself of that pesky laser boomerang Lizzy threw at him earlier. He tilts his jetpack up and accelerates to have the propulsion from the engines blast it to bits. It works.
Having found Lizzy he immediately takes off the jetpack as he lands on the ground and pulls out his pistol.
"Hands up weird crazy smelly lady!" Note how one of Lizzy's running gags (other than her extreme hostile temper and Aussie lingo) is that people keep adding more words to "weird lady". Chipmunk girl first referred to her as "weird lady" then the Chief called her "crazy dingo." Now after falling into sewage she has "Smelly" added to her title.
No one uses her actual name throughout the entire series. This is partly due to her fan character status and thus no one on the show recognizing her or even crediting her for anything.
