Lady M's All Ghoul Group

One thing I find about animation that is timeless; is getting all sorts of monsters and ghouls together and just having a good time. This is still true today thanks to the love movies like 'Hotel Transylvania' get. No matter how old you are, there's something to love about seeing different types of creatures of the night having fun.

The inspiration for this piece goes far as back as the early 70's; with the Filmation classic 'The Groovie Goolies.' Among their highlights were their musical interludes; which played a bunch of songs that are actually still pretty catchy to this day. Find some on youtube and I'm almost willing to bet that a tune or two will stick in your head; no matter how old this music is. Hey, music that's meant to make you feel good is also pretty timeless. ;D

So it seems Lady Malmsteen of Petsylvania got her friends together to form an all "ghoul" group. Lady M plays her very elaborate organ as her bat minions dance over her head. Bastet the mummy cat plays an Ancient Egyptian harp like it's a guitar and provides some of the vocals. Ringu Suzuki the undead fox on tambourine; with accompaniment from the evil little kitten Le Noire on drums. For a tiny little kitty, she can really bring those beats out on that spooky drum set. XD Hovering above is the fiery haired banshee Jennifer McDullahan wailing on her electric guitar. And finally, providing back up vocals is the two headed bunny cutie Trish Lexia.

Also long overdue is another ghoulish resident of Petsylvania I have been meaning to introduce; Lady Malmsteen's arch-rival. Yeah, Kitty isn't her only rival. Within the confines of Petsylvania dwells another rival giving The Lady all sorts of trouble. She is the werewolf queen Lupita. She has a beef with Lady M what with vampires ruling Petsylvania. Lupita feels it's werewolves who should rule this land. She's based off a werewolf design I came up with in some of the earliest sketches I did of Lady M and her homeland of Petsylvania:

She does not approve of The Lady's "Graveyard Smash" as she peers angrily through the castle window covering her ears in chagrin. Already scheming how to get back at The Lady.

Took an ungodly amount of time to finish. All that planning, arranging and little details....you really do have to stay dedicated to your work to see it finished. But anything to see Lady Malmsteen and her friends just havin' some fun; you know when they're not busy being devious. ;D
