TUFF PUppy OC Sketch Dump
I never did a sketch dump before. But lately I found it's an excellent way to let out as many ideas at once. When you got too much you need to do sometimes the best way to do it is to draw the ideas out on one picture.
This sketch dump has characters and a few BGs. And it's all from Butch Hartman's new show 'TUFF Puppy.'
I guess what I like about the show is the ability to expand the premise a bit and involve different locations other than Petropolis. In this case I created a new place where other villains live: a spooky haunted domain called 'Petsylvania.'
Petsylvania obviously takes the name of two places: one of course being the horror themed domain of 'Transylvania' and the other being the state of 'Pennsylvania.'
The main inspirations behind creating such a place are indeed varied. Among the most prominent you might notice is 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.' It obviously is a sort of 'Halloween Town' so to say. I included a few BGs to emphasize this. One being the town itself where you see the grinning crescent moon. The other being the pet cemetery where the more round pumpkin like moon grins over the tombstones. Not how there are different pets like dogs, cats, fish and even snakes and mice for the headstones.
Another influence came from one of my all time favorite video game series Castlevania. You'll notice on the far right the huge castle with the moon behind it. This is where my main OC lives. Also down in the bottom left you'll see her throne. Surrounded by the candelabras. And of course the bat piece on top of the throne.
And who sits on the throne in that castle that rules over Petsylvania? My OC Lady Malmsteen. She is a vampire bat of course. Towards the center are some sketches I drew of her whether solo or interacting with different TUFF Puppy characters. Near the two BG scenes on the left there are some expression sketches of her: one being flirtatious, one being innocent, and one being very angry.
More towards the right is her interacting with some of the characters. mostly the one under the title I typed 'Bat Romance.' The premise is two of the shows main villains have fallen for her though she particularly doesn't care for them. However she decides to pit them together in a contest to retrieve something very vital from TUFF for her. The winner will get to "marry her." (I put it in quotes because It's a Tra......well you know.) Originally it was going to be Snapptrap and the Chameleon competing over her. But lately I figured it might be better to have Snaptrap and Birdbrain fighting over her. Hence drawing the three characters as a sort of thought process.
More proof how she is manipulative is seen below where she appears to be petting Dudley Puppy and putting him under a sort of hex. She obviously uses charm and allure to get what she wants. I'm still toying with the notion if she should indeed be a true vampire and bite his neck to make him her slave.
BTW: as you might have guessed, the title 'Bat Romance' is obviously a take on the Lady Gaga song 'Bad Romance.' Essentially it's what Lady Malmsteen is; a mix between Lady Gaga and Elvira.
Now near the top we see Kitty Katswell too. she is strapped in a chair staring into a large pink crystal. This is Malmsteen's prized possession: a large crystal that drains the essence of young, pretty and very fit women and makes it drinkable. The essence of course keeps Lady Malmsteen young, and it what has been keeping her young for years. This of course is a reference taken from 'The Dark Crystal.'
Lady Malmsteen is over 400 years old; but she keeps the look of her age (21) when she received the crystal and used it to look how she does for years. Without it she would age. The title of that particular story where we are introduced to her would be something like 'Eternally 21'; a take off the title of the store 'Forever 21.'
But aside from being evil and manipulative, she does have a girlish motherly side to her. And that comes in the form of her minions. Her minions of course are bats. And she has swarms of them. They do her bidding and she can even organize them to form various shapes. But mostly she thinks of them as her 'children' or 'babies'; as seen in a pic next to the one of her and Dudley. She's hugging her minions and they in turn enjoy it as much as she does.
So with the setting and the character in place; I thought it would also be fun to add some denizens of this 'Petsylvania' Halloween type town. They are pretty much takes on the classic monsters from film. So of course when we have a lady vampire, we have male vampires. And three of them even have specific names.
Bela La Goosey is a vampire goose. His name obviously is a take from one of the most famous actors to play Count Dracula: Bela Legosi
Next to him is a tall leech in a cape named Christopher Leech: an obvious nod to another actor who played Dracula Christopher Lee.
And the last one is a vampire ferret names 'Nos-Ferretu'; obviously taken from Nosferatu.
Farther to the left are some mummies who live in the town too: all three named after Egyptian gods. Since the show features animals; it only seemed fitting to have them named after Egyptian animal dieties and look the parts: Anubis being the jackal, Sobek the crocodile and Bastet the cat.
And just for the heck of it; I added more ordinary citizens for 'Petsylvania.' Amogn them is a fish-man named Gillbert. And then we have a zombie rabbit, cat and dog. Next to them is a silent scary little cat girl named 'Le Noir.' You know..like Poe's Lenore. A skeleton dog who just lost his head..literally...and some ectoplasm with heads of different animals. And what animal themed scary town would be complete without werewolves? A male and female werewolf. The male also kinda looks like a hunchback. The female seems to be channeling a bit of Danny Phantom. Anyone recall the Empress She-Wolf? ah well..long time ago.
So that's my TUFF Puppy OC sketch dump of the Petsylvania settings, Lady Malmsteen, some of the show's characters and some of the town's denizens.
I really outta do these more. They take a long tiem but they're fun.

Carmelita Croft
Ah Carmelita...how I miss drawing you in all your glory. (No..not THAT type of glory. XD)
This is for the Halloween Jam hosted by![:iconcdb2:]( "CDB2")

Take a character, put him or her in a costume, you know the drill.
Recently I rewatched the Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider movie. It's good hokey fun thanks to the big lipped gal herself. From this to Maleficent, good ol' Angie is your go-to-girl for iconic female characters who do pretty awesome stuff.
And Angelina Jolie (along with Sandra Bullock) and their many respective roles do put me in mind of the Interpol Rose Carmelita Montoya Fox.
Though I'm sure someone dressed her up as this before; it was my turn for my own take on Ms. Fox dressed as Lara Croft.
Although I originally went with the movie's all navy blue (or was it charcoal?) Lara outfit; I switched it out for the game's colors simply because they stuck out more in contrast to the BG and the shadows.
You know, I'm pretty sure a bit of Lara Croft (in her many incarnations) went into the making of Carmelita's designs. Say what you will about Lara both past and present; she still holds a place in our hearts and can indeed be an empowering video game female. Same with Carmelita. ;D
Oh; and speaking of the movie. it's plot actually got me thinking since I crossed it over with Sly Cooper. We last left sly off in Ancient Egypt in Sly 4. (And if this is new to you; what's your problem? XD) The Tomb Raider movie basically explained how a meteorite that hit the earth many years ago contained a huge source of power that gave the Illuminati it's start and it's quest for power. It also has the ability to control time. So with Sly being in Anicent Egypt and Clockwerk's origins needing some explanation; I thought this was a good platform of sorts for my own version of the origins of the Coopers, Clockwerk, AND the quest for immortality and power that featured in Sly 2. But then again that's just me.
Anyway; I had fun drawing out Carmelita's action pose. When I was finished I was just so happy how it turned out. A few tweaks later I scan in it in, outline it, shade it, light it and...voila!! Sly Cooper meets Tomb Raider in the lovely and bad ass appearance of Carmelita fox dressed as Lara Croft. I added the bandages too; it seems rather fitting for someone like Lara (or Ms. fox for that matter) to sustain cuts and bruises now and then. Even a band aid on her knee for a little owie. XD
So that's my entry. Maybe if I have time I can come up with one more. But in all seriousness; I'm quite content with what I made. Enjoy!![:D]( ":D (Big Grin)")

Shantae Kitty and Risky Boots Malmsteen
Based off the cult Gameboy Color game Shantae. If you don't know much about it check it out here: shantae.wikia.com/wiki/Shantae
It goes without saying that the half-genie girl Shantae is a real purple haired cutie. And her pirate nemesis Risky Boots is quite a bombshell too. ;D
Immediately upon playing it again Shantae reminded me of how much people like seeing Kitty Katswell in a belly dancer outfit.
Then Risky Boots and her pompous "I am the Queen of the Seven Seas" attitude put me in the mindset of Lady Malmsteen.
Since (unofficially) these two are rivals; I decided to put them in the respective characters' outfits.
Well Kitty certainly looks good in Shantae's stunning genie outfit. And Lady Malmsteen looking quite sexy in that revealing; and awesome pirate captain outfit.
Actually their in-game banter also reminds me much of how Kitty and Lady M would interact with one another. So it's just a natural fit to have these two parody the characters from the game.

The UnInvited Belle
There is a huge collection of classic NES titles inside my emulator.
One of these titles is a little survival horror point and lick gamed called 'Uninvited'.
It's not so much a NES exclusive as it is a port. It first appeared on PCs.
Like most early point and clicks it takes some trial and error to figure out where to go and what to do to reach your objective. It takes place inside a haunted mansion where an evil wizard lies dormant while you try and find your lost older sister. (In the PC versions it was your little brother.)
The game has its shares of ghosts, ghouls and demons> But the one ghost everyone remembers the most for those who played it; was this woman dressed as "Scarlet O'Hara' walking down the hallway with her back turned to you. If you get her attention she'll turn around and reach out for you and you'll see nothing but a skull where her face used to be.
It's definitely the scariest moment of the game. And regardless of what version you played first; if you don't kill her she'll turn around and in a brief jump cut; have her skull staring straight at you; and then proceed to rip you to shreds.
Uninvited is a fairly decent game to kill a few minutes if you have an emulator. Once you figure it all out there's not much to it and can be completed in less than fifteen minutes. But its atmosphere and the feeling of going through a haunted mansion are still kind of neat. And so is the first impression this "belle" leaves on you.
Remember; open the 'No Ghost!'

Bloo and the X Ray Specs:comic
Well i have been practicing my hand at comic book creating. Not a very easy process. First I make thumbnails then I draw iot out on paper then I scan it in and digitally render it.
Problems I have run into: Panel placement as you can see might confuse people. So I numbered each frame so they know what they're looking at. I'm still studying the manga techniques of paneling cause those are valuable for action. Aniother problem is thumbnailing. If I want two pages I gotta make sure the panels will nto bac kthe people too big or too small. In the end this comic right here was edited into one page. Originally it was two. but since the first page had way more and the second page so little it was edited together. And also the text is different sizes. I gotta work on making sure the text is equal so I think Ibetter write it out first next timebefore placing the thought or voice bubbles.
Other than that I feel good in completeing my first attempt. This time around I didn't shade the characters. Cause it's foster's style and I had this idea in my mind for a joke so I wanted to put it down soon before anyone else thought of it.
The setting is Mac Frankie and Bloo are in some sort of gag/Halloween/comic book store. Don't ask me what Frankie's reading cause it's obviously a rip off of Wonder woman. XD Bloo's idea of X Ray specs leads him him dissapointment when he tries him on. Heh heh, took me five hours to make this running five second gag. =-p I kinda thought it was cute. And don't ask how Frankie's tiny skull fits in that big ol' head of hers. XD I drew Frankie, I drew Frankie in ehr udnerwear, I drew her nude, now I draw her skeleton. Perhaps I am getting a bit too obsessed huh? XD

Ways with the Ladies
Sly 4 is awesome not just because of Sly himself: bu also because of his ancestors.
You don't need an elaborate explanation how his ancestors would take him being in their time. You just need solid character interaction. And the way Sly interacts with his ancestors is the highlight of the game.
But it's not just how Sly's ancestors interact with Sly. It's also how they interact with the other characters: namely Carmelita Fox's interactions with some of them. Among the most amusing is with Tennessee Kid Cooper; who currently shares the status of perhaps Sly's most popular ancestor thanks to his accent and charisma. (Beating out Rioichi wasn't easy: but it is now since we found out Rioichi's kind of a stiff. XD)
But I did wonder: If Cooper's ancestors had no problem with hitting on women from the future; how would they react to other females? Namely how would they interact with Carmelita's partners? (AKA my OCs) Her partners being Mai Ling the cat, Mindy Gardoe the mouse and Sarah Brendhart the dog. I took three of his ancestors to interact with them. But let's start with Carmelita first and work our way down.
First and foremost is of course Tennessee Kid Cooper hitting on Ms. Fox; which got this whole pic rolling. He wasn't even hitting on her initially; he was just being himself around a lady. And this set off Ms. Fox going for him: though this was namely getting back at Sly for lying to her. To seal the deal it appears Tennessee Kid Cooper is o her a 'Desert Rose.' Naturally Carmelita is taken by it; if not jut slightly bemused and chuckling at the gesture. It is however enough to make Sly (in the background) look on with an annoying grimace. He's like "Really Carmelita?" or "you gotta be kidding me!" I like how Tennessee is winking at her too. Seriously IRL he doesn't need all this. Being himself is enough to win the ladies over. It's certainly what won him the most fan girls. XD
BTW: Carmelita is in her traditional outfit simply because that's how she is in my series. I keep her original outfit. Don't get me wrong the new one's hot. I just feel more at home with her old one.
Next we have Rioichi introducing Mai Ling to his infamous sushi. You know since he "invented" it; I imagine it probably tastes REALLY good. Who is Mai to pass u pa good hearty meal without any preservatives thrown in it? (Just good ol' fashioned culinary craftsmanship.) You know as serious as Rioichi was in the game; I bet if he wanted to he could hit it off with the ladies too. (When you're a ninja it comes naturally. XD) To try and win Mai Ling he is offering her a rather special piece of sushi. The meat on top of it is cut in the shape of a heart. (AWWW. X) Mai isn't sure what to make of it at first. I think Rioichi's 'Splinter-like' seriousness threw her off guard. She really didn't expect to be offered such a token of his possible affections towards her. XD I am wondering how she takes this token.
One that is very obvious is Mindy reacting to the ever gallant gesture of Sir Galleth Cooper. In true knightly fashion he kneels before the lady and kisses her hand. What a gentleman. XD Be still Mindy's heart. Literally; her hand's over her chest and she looks pretty touched if not flattered by this token of respect/affection. I like Sir Galleth's personality too. He also hit on Ms. Fox; but his ego is hilarious awesome. XD Being the knight he is he sure likes to be full of himself and believe himself to be THAT great. (Even when he was merely a clown in the level. XD) Also: what lady can resist that awesome beard? XD Facial hair over fur. You know you're awesome when you can grow beard on your fur. XD And I think Mindy's pretty impressed with it too. XD
Lastly is a Cooper who I think tries charm the very VERY old fashioned way. "Bob" Cooper the cave raccoon tries his moves on Sarah. This is down by simply picking her up in his arms and holding her close to his chest. (Christ...the "rape face" comments I'm gonna get. XD) Sarah doesn't seem too afraid: but nevertheless she is clearly nervous. Just keep smiling girl. XD (Or...maybe not. XD) Bob's really a nice guy: for a cave Cooper. XD I think he deserves more love. I think he and Salim get a bad rap for being chosen as the Cooper ancestors you interact with rather than other ones fans wanted to see: namely Henriette One Eye Cooper. (Oh well: there MAY be future games. ;D) But I ultimately liked Bob. And hopefully Sarah just sees him as being a gentleman in how "own way"; and from his own time. XD At least he didn't bonk her over the head with a club and drag her to his cave. XD

Sick Sly
I quickly drew this one night while drawing more requests. just something I had in mind while doing the Master Thief Sprints in the Panda King's level. The place looked freakin' cold. Here's the consequences of Sly staying way too long doing the Thief Sprints in that area. (Poor guy) Bentley's there doing his constant nagging. -_- I draw way too many side pics. ![=p (Razz)]( "=p (Razz)")

Blitz and the Angels
Based on a group of supervillains I came up with some time ago; roughly two years: [link]
Each square shows each of their powers in one form or another.
General Blitz is in the center generating lightning and electricity as is his element. He kind of looks like M. Bison here from Street Fighter huh? Well that was intentional. He is primarily based off that villain: and his angels based off his 'doll' army.
The surrounding squares are his team of Angels: elemental battle girls who do his bidding in re-establishing T.U.F.F. HQ as the one and only center of crime fighting. Blitz's goal was to take over TUFF as a means to "improve" it from it's former management. And by improve I mean turn into the main center for 'world police.' I won't give out too much on why he wants to do this; but he does have some history with the organization and how it was born.
Each square shows each Angel using their element and what main part of Petropolis they are assigned to patrol. To get an idea of this" think of Mega Man or Mega Man X. If this were a game someone would choose a section of Petropolis to go to to face each Angel much like how one in Mega Man faces a Robot Master o Maverick.
The top left square is Blazing Husky demonstrating her fire powers. She is also in Petropolis's largest steel mill. The next square over is Crystal Dingo encased in her protective crystal. She is residing in the energy mines. And to the top right is Shining Wolf running at the speed of light as is her element. She is within the mainframe of the Petropolis network.
Center left is Stone Jackal using her powers of earth and stone to build herself stronger and to summon a type of earth golem behind her. (The golem looks kind of like that 'stink monster' as I call it from 'Law and Odor.') She is assigned to guard Fort Petropolis. Center Right is Dark Shikoku with her shadow powers; and her shadow taking form of a Japanese type demon. She resides on the railways and controls most of the trains in Petropolis.
Bottom left is Splash Vixen, surfing on the oceans using her powers of water to create massive waves and cause problems for any ships trying to escape. She resides over Petropolis harbor. Center bottom is Storm Foo flying through the air causing winds to pick up and create massive storms like tornadoes. She is in charge of Petropolis air base. And finally on the bottom right is Rose Coyote using her powers to summon plants from creeping vines to massive man eating plants. She covers a majority of the city but primarily resides in Petropolis's main communication tower where the plants block out any means of sending distress signals.

Definitely recalling me of that one episode where they did a parody of it.
I don't even plan on doing this for a while. In fact I'm planning on this being my last TUFF story and Blitz and his team of angels being the final bad guys. What is interesting though is that it gives us a history into how TUFF and its agencies formed; and how Blitz figured into all this and its creation.

The Cast of 'Rioichi Cooper and the Five Orbs'
Not the most imaginative title: but it does have meaning. It's referring to the book of philosophy written by the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi: 'The Book of Five Rings.'
Like the book the five orbs represent five elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Void.
The idea behind the story is that Rioichi Cooper's thieving days are dwindling fast since the current shogun has become corrupted thanks to a gift delivered to him by what the locals named: 'the winged devil.' The gift was a dark orb: the Orb of Void. This allowed the shogun total control over most of Japan. It also made thieving harder as the greedy nobles got richer no matter how much Rioichi stole. Feeling hopeless he is then visited by his ancestors in a dream who tell him to embark on a quest. He eventually learns of four other orbs: the orbs of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. Combined with the orb of Void it would restore balance and harmony to Japan. The reason the shogun was so corrupted easily was because without the four other orbs; the Orb of Void by itself is an orb of darkness. Only with the other orbs can the user be powerful and pure of spirit. So Rioichi can't even steal the Orb of Void by itself since it would easily corrupt him too.
But like the Orb of Void; the other orbs are currently in the stewardship of other individuals. In China; the horse emperor Qui Lynn possesses the Orb of Fire. Near the Ryuku Islands in the undersea kingdom of Yonaguni (an actual Japanese landmark), the king of the fishmen residents; The Sahagan, possesses the Orb of Water. On a haunted island named Shiniriku, a palace full of ghosts named Soma is inhabited by a witch princess named Takiyasha Horo. She possesses the Orb of Earth. Finally there is the most elusive orb of all: the Orb of Wind. Not residing but always moving; with a highly skilled and undefeated blind swordsman named Kengyoichi.
So it's a somewhat basic adventure/quest story where Rioichi must travel as far as China and distant islands to try and recover the legendary orbs.

I typed their names so you know who's who.
MAJIN CLOCKWERK - The "winged devil." Majin means "demon" in Japanese. not only do I think it's a cool befitting first name for this form of Clockwerk; but it's also a reference to Dragonball. (Majin Buu.) The idea of collecting orbs to gain something is definitely reminiscent of the Dragonballs. There are lots of cultural and anime references throughout this story.
THE SHOGUN - Haven't decided on a name yet. Much like in the first Star Wars trilogy; we referred to Emperor Palpatine as "the Emperor." Here he's "The Shogun"; for now. Like I said; multiple references.
THE SAHAGAN KING - The enormous and bulbous fishman king with his trident and giant shark toothed grin. It's a good thing Rioichi has a shark pal to help him.
QUI LYNN - He's really a horse but he believes he is a true descendant of the legendary Kirin. Kirins are basically chinese unicorns for those who don't know. He's kind of a cross between Discord and Lord Shen.
TAKIYASHA HORO - Like Qui Lynn she is based off another legendary creature; but she's the real deal. She is a nekomata; a cat with a forked tail who can control ghosts. Her name is derived from a Japanese witch from this famous painting:

KENGYOICHI - Derived from the legendary fictional blind swordsman: Zatoichi. But he is named Kengyoichi because it is the highest form of an occupation for those who are blind in Japan. Zato is the lowest.
BABAYAMA - This crotchety old frog is the one who tells the story of the orbs and helps start Rioichi's quest. Often beats him on the head with her walking stick and calls him "Bunbuku": a somewhat insulting name since she's basically calling him some dumb tanuki. XD
SAMANUSUKE - A young noble rabbit who was sent to train at one of the finest dojos in Japan. But because he was small he was mocked by his peers. His master saw this so he sent Samanusuke to journey with warriors who would accept him no matter if they were samurai or ninja. He goes with Rioichi but often their views of morality clash: as Rioichi goes by a ninja code and Samanusuke goes by the bushido code.
JENTI - A young ninja thief who always tried to steal more than Rioichi. She steals something from him but Rioichi follows her back to her village. Her tiny village is protected by her grandmother Yumi, who raised and trained her since her parents died. Is encouraged to help Rioichi as an apology for stealing from him; as well as fine tune her own ninja thieving skills.

the main hero of our story and the one who begins his quest to find the mystical orbs to try and bring peace and balance to Japan: as well as getting them all so he can successfully steal the Orb of Void.
BURAKU - A forest rhino bandit who was ostracized from the kingdom when the Emperor threw him out. His name is derived from "outcast"; his name describes people who are pretty much discriminated against in Japan. He also has other ostracized members who help him. Yet he has an alternative motive. Perhaps he's not the forest thief one might assume him to be at first.
KINTARO, URASHIMA, and CHAGAMA - Buraku's best henchmen. Kintaro; the strong hippo; Urashima the smart little turtle; and Chagama the teapot carrying Tanuki. Ahha: see what I did there? ;D I made Japanese versions of Murray, Bentley and Sly. Ahhhhaaaahhhh. ;D Their names are also derived from Japanese folk stories. Kintaro is named after a boy of acceptional strength. Urashima is named after a boy who rode a turtle for his life. And Chagama (meaning teapot) refers to Bunbuku Chagama, the story of a tanuki who lived with a dying old man. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer; but they get the job done. ;D
Sorry if some of the cast members are so small. Especially Buraku's henchmen. XD
But the villains came out nicely: and I'm pretty happy with how clockwerk turned out.
He may look his normal menacing self: but I left it vague on purpose so the final reveal behind what he truly looks like will be saved for later.
It should also be noted; that there are two characters straight out of the wall scroll artwork of the game that were done by Genevieve Tsai. The rabbit and the rhino. The rabbit and rhino had no name so I gave them one. If you visit the artist's blog you can look more at the detail on these two. I just gave em names but their desgins were by Tsai.

KINTARO, URASHIMA, and CHAGAMA - Buraku's best henchmen. Kintaro; the strong hippo; Urashima the smart little turtle; and Chagama the teapot carrying Tanuki. Ahha: see what I did there? ;D I made Japanese versions of Murray, Bentley and Sly. Ahhhhaaaahhhh. ;D Their names are also derived from Japanese folk stories. Kintaro is named after a boy of acceptional strength. Urashima is named after a boy who rode a turtle for his life. And Chagama (meaning teapot) refers to Bunbuku Chagama, the story of a tanuki who lived with a dying old man. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer; but they get the job done. ;D
Sorry if some of the cast members are so small. Especially Buraku's henchmen. XD
But the villains came out nicely: and I'm pretty happy with how clockwerk turned out.
He may look his normal menacing self: but I left it vague on purpose so the final reveal behind what he truly looks like will be saved for later.
It should also be noted; that there are two characters straight out of the wall scroll artwork of the game that were done by Genevieve Tsai. The rabbit and the rhino. The rabbit and rhino had no name so I gave them one. If you visit the artist's blog you can look more at the detail on these two. I just gave em names but their desgins were by Tsai.

Drop Dead, Ironsides!!
That's exactly what Neyla is shouting at Carmelita Fox right now, who can't help but laugh at her current situation.
Looks like Sly used his Master thief skills to purloin Neyla's whip. Normally Neyla uses it to tame (and capture) criminals like she was a ringmaster. This time however, the tigress is the one being tamed, and utterly humiliated.
Sly must've gotten an infuriated Neyla to chase him, all while using her whip to tangle her up. She then realizes too late that she is now all "tied up" and is soon hoisted high into a tree. She's tied up to a point where it's very difficult to move. Sly meanwhile just hunches on a nearby branch observing Neyla's predicament.
And Carmelita is below looking up at her 'backstabbing partner' and just can't help but laugh out loud at Neyla and how embarrassing this is for her.
This really REALLY makes Neyla angry. Sure we're used to seeing Carmelita angry, but Neyla's showing it off now as Carmelita laughs at her misfortune. So angry is she that her face is turning a beet red in absolute frustration.
Well if Neyla wasn't Sly 2's backstabbing queen of mean, she would be shown some mercy. But it looks like she got her own just desserts here in as humiliating a way without making it seem too risqué. I mean...she IS tied up. Also not only is she suspended butt up in the air, she lost a boot in the process that is dangling above her right foot. This totally sucks for her. XD
But like I said, this is Neyla on how she behaved in Sly 2. No fan changing of her intentions right here; at least not right now.
I like how she's more angry at Carmelita for laughing at her than at Sly for getting her in this predicament. I guess she is also mad at him; but this moment captures her yelling at Carmelita.

Video Game Vixen Troubles
I think there are tons of 'Chick Flicks' out there where women sit down and discuss their everyday problems amongst each other. As is 'Sex and the City', though not as raunchy.
Here's something. Video Game vixen chars sitting down and discussing their problems with their jobs. Most vixens in the video game world must have it rough. A majority are in one game, and that's it. Time to find a new job. =-p Here be their problems.
Carmelita Fox (Far left) - Worrying that if Sucker Punch doesn't make their unnannounced sequel to Sly Cooper soon, she's gotta go back working at 'T.G.I. Fridays' to make ends meet. I am equally mioffed that Suckpunch hasn't announced a sequl either.
Ursula (Left on the couch) Is complaining that Capcom won't use extra chars like her anymore. Always new characters for each Breath of Fire. She was in Breath of Fire IV; now she currently struggles working as an assistant manager at 'Limited Too'. I wonder if any of the Fnal Fantasy girls have equal problems.
Krystal (Right on the couch) is annoyed that Rare may no longer use her due to her being pounded by all those puking "Eye Candy" bleeding hearts. (It helps a game sell you guys) For seeming worthless, she may be replaced. Or need to make herself more assertive in roles; or it's back to working at AMC theaters for her.
And Foxy Roxy (far Right) complaining that she hasn't found decent work in games since; because she's from a game, 'Brutal: Paws of Fury', that hardly anyone remembers or has even played. Still living with her parents, she tries staying in college and earning money to support herself by working night and day shifts as a clerk in 'Albertson's'.
The backlground is a photo I took. After coloring these girls, I did NOT want to make a background so aggevating. The most aggrevating part; I use a mouse to color. UGH!!! I need a drawing template like NOW!!!!!!!! Oh God how I want one.

Lady Malmsteen's Halloween Birthday Bash
Yeah Halloween is well over by now; but that didn't stop me from finishing a huge pic I had been working on for quite some time. Schedules changes, sleeping and Pokemon can distract a man. But I get there in the end. :-3
Lady Malmsteen was throwing a huge birthday party at her castle. She invited as many of the TUFF Puppy cartoon's villains as possible. But she also invited some villainous OCs from other fans of the show: or aquaintances of the show's villains. So yeah; most all OCs present here either have something to do with the show's villains or are just villains themselves.![:D]( ":D (Big Grin)")
This took a lot of time as you might see. ;D I added as many characters as I could. So if I missed a few of them due to lack of room I greatly apologize. But I do have a lot of other things to do in my life; so finishing this as it is I hope suffices enough.
In the center sitting on her throne is the Lady herself; Lady Malmsteen. Flanking her are two other acquaintances of hers; the one on the right being Jack Rabbit dressed as a vampire and the one on the left being![:iconfox-mccloud:]( "fox-mccloud")
's persona Kei dressed as The Phantom from 'Phantom of the Opera.' Both this smooth guys seem to vie for her ;D

's OC Ivonne. They're wearing the outfits given to them previous from Dreamr herself: Ollie being a vampire and Ivonne being a witch. Another one of her OCs Scentessa is down in the bottom right dressed as Cruela De Ville; she is speaking with my OC Lizzy McDinga who is dressed as Star War's Boba Fett. Amazing how good these two turned out in their respective outfits. ;D Her Ferret sisters dressed in black are also singing to bring the guests some swingin' Halloween songs. ;D

's main OC Cassidy; dressed as a pirate. Both these gals seem to be involved in some intense conversations. Seems like tow of her other OCs were too: the twins Dessa and Dennis.Dessa is dressed as Cleopatra and Dennis dressed as Caesar. They are looking up to see two characters interrupting their convo. One being The Chameleon; who is dressed as a rather garish Spiderman.
With him is a frog from the Jack Rabbit gang known as The Poison Archer; dressed as a shinobi. He belongs to![:icontuffandtmnt:]( "TUFFandTMNT")
. There are some other OCs of his. At the bottom of the twins is General Guar; dressed as Shredder from Ninja Turtles. He is speaking with another evil TUFF Pupy general; my OC General Blitz who is dressed as M. Bison from Street Fighter. As they chat up some important evil work; their henchwomen are speaking amongst each other. Like Genereal Blitz's Angels; Dark Shikoku and Shining Wolf; dressed as Bison's "Doll" assassins. Then there's General Guar's henchwomen; Kitty Katswell's clones: Aqua Tigress and Blizzard Leopard who are dress as Master shredder's Foot Clan soldiers. They might be planning a collab; perhaps. ;D
You know speaking of Kitty clones; Madame Katastrophe is not far from them. She's dressed as an evil Sorceress; kinda looking like the one from 'Enchanted.' (With a bit of Malificent. ;D) Next to her is her counterpart Dr. Rabies; who like dudley is dressed as a clown and putting ship into his pants. Do you really trust shrimp served to you by vampires? ;D
Let's get a theme going shall we? How about Batman villains? Like having BirdBrain dressed as "The Penguin" and his sidekick Zippy dressed as "Harley Quinn." He seems to be scolding her; what'd she do this time? XD Another OC is![:iconmorroderthefreakyguy:]( "MorrodertheFreakyGuy")

Closure
As of late most us Sly fans have let our feelings known about Sanzaru's announcement that there will be no more Sly games. And before I get into my feelings about that I already wanna make it perfectly clear it's not their fault. Sony decides what to do with Sly now. And given his sales record; we don't know if another Sly game will come into fruition.
I already made my thoughts on the matter clear in one of my journals: shinragod.deviantart.com/journ…
But sometimes I feel if you're an artist and you truly feel passion about something, you gotta put in words via a pic you drew yourself.
Hence this piece; my last piece I am making before I get down to the business and resume drawing pictures for people I owe.
Essentially the title says it all; all I want now...is closure! Just at least ONE more Sly game with ONE thing: a solid conclusion.
And what event in the proposed game would help give us closure? Sly and Carmelita's reunion of course. If ever a time for them to finally end their 'rivalry' and admit their love to one another; it would no doubt be when they're reunited somewhere in the game. Or...at the end of the journey of the game and they will no longer be separated.
There are other things to wrap up too: meeting the rest of the ancestors, finding out the deal with Penelope's plans, and perhaps even one more showdown with Clockwerk given it's time travel.
It would wrap up the series nicely.
I drew Sly and Carmelita reuniting. I know both of these two rarely show their tears: what with Sly being the charismatic and dashing thief and Carmelita being the hardened criminal buster. But given their separation; the emotions between these two would no doubt be there and it would be a very happy reunion; with more than likely a few tears shed. At least, that's how I envision it.
Given Sly's brand of humor; it might go something like this.
Carmelita: Sly....sniff...I...sniff...I'm gonna slap the crap out of you and probably won't stop...
Sly: Sniffle....And I'm gonna let you....
Ha ha. These two and their whirlwind romance. XD But yeah; I say both would finally put the 'cops and robbers' chase to bed, go back to their own time, get married and start making Sly babies.
Cause in my honest opinion, one more Sly game to give us fans closure is really I want to see. And for sure it would probably be the last game. Not like the supposed conclusions like in 'Metal Gear solid IV' and 'God of War III'; where they continue the sagas due to them being successful franchises.
Sly itself wasn't a very profitable franchise. So if Sony finds it in their hearts to wrap things up with one more game; that would give me closure and I'll be happy.
And again guys...not Sanzaru's fault. I'm happy they took on the Sly franchise and gave us a solid title. Although I'm pretty sad some people out there totally hated it and really gave them the business when hearing the Sly series wasn't going to continue...for now it seems.
But if ever another Sly game, one more is all I'd ask for and one that gives us a complete closure to the series.

Sly: Sniffle....And I'm gonna let you....
Ha ha. These two and their whirlwind romance. XD But yeah; I say both would finally put the 'cops and robbers' chase to bed, go back to their own time, get married and start making Sly babies.
Cause in my honest opinion, one more Sly game to give us fans closure is really I want to see. And for sure it would probably be the last game. Not like the supposed conclusions like in 'Metal Gear solid IV' and 'God of War III'; where they continue the sagas due to them being successful franchises.
Sly itself wasn't a very profitable franchise. So if Sony finds it in their hearts to wrap things up with one more game; that would give me closure and I'll be happy.
And again guys...not Sanzaru's fault. I'm happy they took on the Sly franchise and gave us a solid title. Although I'm pretty sad some people out there totally hated it and really gave them the business when hearing the Sly series wasn't going to continue...for now it seems.
But if ever another Sly game, one more is all I'd ask for and one that gives us a complete closure to the series.

On a funnier note; note the buckle with the Cooper face on it and how it seems to be getting closer to Carmelita's crotch. (Is that foreshadowing? XD)
But anyways, that's my two cents: the rest of what I said in detail is in my journal I linked to in the artist's statement.
Again...the one thing I want with Sly is closure. We may or may not get it. But it would be something I'd like to see.

Crash and Jak Race for Neoyi
This is an artrade I had recently with Neoyi. ![]( "neoyi")
. Sheasked me to draw Jak and Crash together. I decided to add daxter and Cortex to the theme. It's based off Jak II and Crash Twinsanity.
See Jak and Crash are racing down a steel raceway. Jak and Daxter race on their hoverboard (OK I made this hoverboard design up here.) And are hovering through the raceway. However, Jak and Daxter look a little confused as they see Crash racing down the raceway with his choice of vehicle. It's Cortex; based off the new way of riding him in Twinsanity. Crashdoesn't seem to mind;l but Cortex obviously does.
I like how Jak turned out; it's kinda hard drawing all the details on him. Crash coulda come out better. I liek the idea though. Having Jak race against Crash with their choice of skateboarding vehicle. Hee hee.
Thus compeltes my end of the art trade. Neoyi drew me a great pic of Sharon and Amber for me; so I made this extra special for her by adding Cortex in it too.![:)]( ":) (Smile)")

OC Jammy Jam - Lady Malmsteen
I decided to do a little art jam with my own OCs. Mainly it will be my females; but I'll probably throw a couple of my dudes in there too.
It's an art jam where I feature what my OCs look like in what they consider 'pajamas.'
Needless to say; a few of them might be a little revealing.
The first one I start with is my flagship OC Lady Elizabeth Tepes Malmsteen. And she definitely fits in the revealing category with that skimpy gothic nightie.

But her preferred nighttime wear of choice is this very shortcut silk nightie.
She definitely likes it; and I am sure no one is complaining. ;D

World Of Ratcraft
The work is complete.
Snaptrap and his siblings playing TUFF Puppy's take on 'World of Warcraft.'
World of Ratcraft. How come it's only exclusive to rats? XD Oh well: you take one side gag and run with it.![:B]( "Bucktooth")
Snaptrap is the dwarven warrior in the middle. The ax and the skulls are akin to him. He has an axe to grind alright: with his siblings. His username is 'Snappyroth)PWnzAll.' Snappyroth is derived from Sephiroth. (Someone who isn't affiliated with WoW but whatever. An excuse to use it. XD) The scene where he's sitting down is taken directly from 'Puppy Unplugged.' I dunno how you can exactly play these types of games with one button but whatever. XD I made him the dwarf since he's the youngest of the three rat siblings here and thus making him among the smallest: for the most part.
His brother Matt snaptrap is on the left with his warrior class player 'CaptainStudMuffin123.' He's enjoying a more luxurious playing of the game on his yacht: complete with cute rat girl waitress serving him a cold tropical drink as he plays. This is a nerd's paradise right here: being able to play games in a luxurious setting with a cute girl serving your needs.
On the far right is Snaptrap's sister Pat Snaptrap. She is the dark mage user 'BeautyQueen4Life13.' (This is also makes fun of the names people give themselves online. XD) She's enjoying her game in her lovely rose garden with a glass of chardonnay no less. Figures she'd pick the sexiest character in the game to try and pass herself off as one. ;D I love her girly laptop. XD
A contrasting pic between lifestyles. Matt plays from his yacht and Pat from her luxurious garden. Snappy's just playing in his basement. Snaptrap doesn't look happy either. He's probably logging in to try and beat his smug brother and sister who seem ready for him.
The backgrounds for the three characters the siblings play as were taken from World of Warcraft too. So not everything in this pic was made exclusively from me. Some are screen shots from the game and artwork from it too. A mixed media project.
The title screen 'World of Ratcraft' was also taken directly from the show.
But all other drawings of the characters above are 100% mine. The dark mage in particular turned out really good. ;D

Rid My Castle Of These Pests
This is one of my major pictures I decided to experiment on using my laptop.
And the result: hot damn!!
This was influenced by one of the boss battles from Castlevania:Symphony of the Night
It's where Alucard meets the possessed Richter Belmont and is forced to fight in the castle's own personal gladiator arena against the werewolf and minotaur from the previous Rondo of Blood game.

Since my TUFF OC Lady Malmsteen and her domain of Petsylvania took much inspiration from the Castlevania games: I decided to recreate the scenario by having Malmsteen pit her enemies: Dudley Puppy and Kitty Katswell: against her own monstrous servants.
These servants she has called forth are actually from a different series Butch Hartman was responsible for: Danny Phantom. From the episode 'Reality Trip': there were three geeks who turned into three super villains after touching the Gem of Fantasy.
Now these three super villains are back ready to squish and pummel these TUFF agents into the dirt.
From left to right all are accounted for: Empress She-Wolf, Crystal Leviathan, and Scarlet Samurai.
Scarlet Samurai was altered to make him less human and more ghost-like for the haunted arena battle.
Malmsteen is ready to see some blood. But she's not alone. She has invited Petropolis' villains to witness the carnage as well.
Birdbrain and Verminious SnapTrap are present ready to watch their good guy rivals meet their doom. So is the rest of D.O.O.M. on SnapTrap's right, and other villains such as The Chameleon, Dr. Rabies, and Madame Katastrophe. Madame K looks kinda scary here. O.o
On BirdBrain's right are other denizens of Petsylvania who are watching as well.
The three vampires are here: Bela La Goosey, Christopher Leech, and Nos-Ferretu.
And by them holding up odd props is the little gothic cat girl: Le Noire. She has two signs of what appears to be a dead Dudley in the form of a hot dog; and a dead Kitty in the form of an egg roll.
Obviously she wants the three super villains to win. The two things she are holding are obvious gags. Dudley being a hot dog, and Kitty being part of the rumor that cats are used in Chinese food.
The three Egyptian mummies are here too. Bastet the cat and Sobek the crocodile are dying to see the action. Anubis on the other hand looks a bit sad. He's actually the nicest denizen of Petsylvania and sympathizes for Dudley and Kitty a bit.
BTW: These mummies are named after Egyptian Gods: but they have surnames which I would rather use.

Carmelita and Neyla Gifts
Part of an undone Christmas picture I nevercompleted because I wasn't exactly pleased with it. It had more than just two Sly Cooper characters. It originally had Carmelita, Neyla, Penelope and then three of my own Sly cooper chars like Mai Ling, Sarah Brendhart and Mindy Gardoe. But the overall picture was just too big and I didn't like how it looked with all the characters out of proportion. so I ended up cropping it with the two that came out the best.
Neyla and Carmelita Fox were the main focus of the picture anyway. It represents the gifts they recieved on christmas (Last year's X Mas) their respective boyfriends gave em.
Neyla got a nice brand new whip (from the Belmont collection) from Dimitri. Loves her that much. So does Neyla; note the little Dimitri slippers she has on.![;)]( ";) (Wink)")
Carmelita on the other hand got a rather interesting looking teddy from Sly. Sly no doubt was thinking of her in it when he got for her. Or stole it for her.![;)]( ";) (Wink)")
I'm sure Carmelita thought the same thing. X-p I think Carmelita's expression is the best here. (Wish I didn't make Neyla's eyes so big.)
For the other girls here's what they got (the ones who aren't in this picture but originally were.) sarah got some battle cards from Robbie; Mai got some throwing knives from a secret admirer, Penelope got a special computer chip from Bentley and Mindy got a book from a friend on how to be more Emo.
If I feel like it I will probably draw the picture again this coming Christmas with everyone in it but much much smaller. Here's to a late X Mas pic of Neyla and Carmelita.X-p
